Jules ended the call with Ember and sighed to herself. Soyeon's voice was booming in the office. For a girl who looked so soft, her voice really carried.
"I want my own campaign!" Soyeon's voice echoed through the top office in the company, making everyone turn their heads. Her cheeks were flushed, and her eyes blazed with fury. "If Ember can pull something off on her own, then I can too. I deserve better than this!"
Her manager, Mr. Park, a wiry man in a sleek suit, was trying his best to calm her down, but he was clearly struggling. "Soyeon, listen, we're working on something. These things take time. You need to be patient. Ember is eating off Lyra popularity."
"Patient?!" Soyeon shot back, her voice sharp enough to cut through glass. "I've been patient. Look where that got me. Nowhere! I was patient with Lyra but she ignored my proposal. Now, Ember's getting all the attention, and I'm left looking like some second-rate model!"
