The others continued with their breakfast in the dining room as they reasoned that leaving the two alone was for the best.
Mama held both of Yun Lui's hand, one in each of hers. She look into his eyes to make contact before saying, "Yun Lui, this may come as a shock especially now that you do not even have your memories. Still try and calm down, for everything will be okay. Ok?"
He nodded in apprehension.
"Lui, you're with child. It's six weeks old.", she looked at his confused expression and continued.
"The physicians informed me. The vomiting, the nausea and the tiredness are all symptoms of your pregnancy. You do not have to worry, they will die down soon. Now you have to take good care of yourself and the baby."
Yun Lui was shocked and confused. He looked at his ring finger and did not see any wedding band on it, meaning he was not married.
Mama Chi followed his eye movements and understood what he was thinking. She too thought the same.
For even if he might have been married and had a wedding band on the ring finger but it got stolen, there would've been the wedding band's marks on his finger.
Since there was no such thing, then it meant that he has was not married. She hugged the poor pregnant young may for sometime.

The days turned into weeks and soon Yun Lui was already in his second trimester.
Mama Chi who was usually alone in the big house whenever her husband and second son leave for work, felt so happy to have Yun Lui with her now.
She would spoil the may to the extent that even her older sons faked jealousy. They complained that their mother never treated them like that even in their childhood.
She was so strict that it was their father whom they ran to for help whenever their mother was angered.
Chi Yuan even asked if perhaps she wanted daughters and mays but the universe gave her only sons, and they all laughed about it.
Yun Lui decided that he too wanted to do something of his own.
Though he has never wanted for anything and both Papa Chi and Muchen continued to give him weekly allowances, he has never even touched them yet.
Mama Chi would get him anything and everything including what he did not even need but he too wanted to be like the other members in the family.
They all seemed so accomplished. Papa Chi is still the minister of Finance but even in his youth, he had worked very hard for his guild to thrive till he handed it over to his older son.
Mama Chi in her time had worked alongside her husband. When her husband had been appointed as a government official, she had just put to birth to their first child.
As a new official he could not dare slack off or make a single mistake otherwise he will be sacked, and someone else on the line will be made to replace him.
Mama Chi had to be the one running the guild as soon as she had put to birth. They were not rich then so hiring servants was out of the question.
They had only one worker who helped with the work at the guild. All the house chores plus taking care of their new born fell on her.
Papa Chi too came home feeling too tired but he tried to help with the baby during the night. They both supported the other when they could.
Being a woman in their time and having to head these big men who were merchants of the guild was a headache. They only wanted to listen to her husband and not her.
It took a coordinated effort of the two spouses to get to where they were now. Their first son who now runs the family business has been able to expand it further with the help of his wife or moon.
The second son, though he still lives with his parents, is also a state official at the palace just like his father.
Yun Lui too wants to be able to achieve something of his own. He loves to be spoiled but he wants to accomplish something too. Can't he have both?
Today, he and Mama Chi went to visit the first son and his moon at the guild. He felt so envious when he saw how Chi Lan was giving instructions to some of the employees.
It made him wonder what he had done in his past life. He did not even know his own age but the others were guessing that he was probably in his late teens.
They doubted that he will be more than eighteen years of age. So he's accepted that as his age now. He was eager to have his memories back so he can remember his family and his children's father.
The Chis have never made him feel like an outsider but still he will like to know at least who his children's father was. The physicians have now confirmed that he was indeed pregnant with twins.
"Lulu, what is wrong? You have been so quiet since we left the guild. Is anything bothering you?", Mama asked.
"Mother, I was thinking that I should also start doing something. I feel useless and brainless just staying at home and enjoying while the others work.", Yun Lui told her what was on his mind.
"Is that why you looked so gloomy. Ah, you got me really worried.", Mama Chi and flicked his forehead with her thumb and middle finger.
"Ouch. Mother!", Yun Lui pouted. Mama Chi ignored him and continued.
"I was thinking you would feel the same and would want to find something doing. What do you have in mind?", she asked.
"I have not thought of anything yet.", he answered.
"Okay, but whatever you decide to do just inform about it. Also remember that you have less than four months to put to birth, so don't think of anything strenuous now.", she advised.
