It was very chaotic in the Chi household as they all woke up to find out that Lui had not slept at home the previous night.
The fuss isn't about the fact that an adult like Lui spent the night outside, but rather, it's because that has never happened before.
Well, except for Muchen who had seen him returning home at dawn just one time many months ago.
"Where would he go without even informing anyone? Lankan, do you have any idea as to where he could've gone to?" Papa Chi asked his son-in-law.
"I have no idea father." Lan answered.
"What of your brother? Can you check with him for us? Yuan, can you go with your wife?" Mama Chi asked her son-in-law and first son, to which they both nodded in agreement.
Lan is already wondering if Lui had followed his brother home, so he wasn't surprised that his mother-in-law also has the same thought.
