"Our in-laws, you're welcome. Please come in.", Xu Ling's mom said as she ushered the Xus into their porch and made a servant to go and call her husband to come back home, for they had some visitors.
He had gone to the house next to theirs to see his friend about something immediately he and his wife finished having their breakfast. He still hasn't returned and so the servant went to call him.
"Our in-laws, welcome.", he said and came to sit beside his wife, they were facing Xu Wu and his parents across the small table between them.
"Thank you.", Xu Wu and his parents responded.
"Our in-laws, our is our daughter and grandson doing? Why didn't they come with you please? We hope that everything is well?", Xu Ling's dad asked
"Yes, they're all doing great.", Mama Xu answered, ignoring the part that asked why Xu Ling and Xu Wong were not there with them.
