Things were moving smoothly in the Peta Estate. After Mordret discovered the truth about the Beast Raid and its periodic nature, he realized that the next four raids would be easy to deal with. The catastrophic raid was still almost four months away.
This time gap presented an opportunity for growth. If he seized it, the estate could flourish. However, there were many challenges to overcome. Starting with the morale of the villagers, there was much work to be done.
With this in mind, Mordret began utilizing the stored 2 million gold for the estate's improvement. He dispatched merchants to Viscount Grayrat's county to procure essential supplies, from food to clothing. Every basic need of the estate had to be met before the next beast raid.
