It was midnight when Old Man Healer William was woken up by a loud knock and a voice urgently calling for help. Groggy and slightly annoyed, he rubbed his eyes and shuffled to the door. As he opened it, he was greeted by Lucas, who stood drenched from the rain, holding a red-headed female in his arms.
Looking at her fair skin and delicate features, Healer William's eyes widened in surprise. "Come inside! And where did this female come from?"
"Yeah... healer, quickly check her. She fainted in my arms," Lucas said, concern evident in his voice as he gently laid her on the extra bed meant for patients.
Taking her pulse, Healer William checked her eyes and temperature. "Don't worry, she is fine. She just fainted because of the cold," he said, grabbing some medicine from the shelf and carefully administering it.
"Thank you, healer," Lucas said with relief. "Now, can I take the female to my house?"
"Yeah, sure. But where did you find such a delicate and beautiful female? I have never seen anyone like her in my entire life," William remarked, stroking his beard thoughtfully. "And what kind of beast was she? I can't even identify her."
"I don't know," Lucas admitted, shaking his head. "I just found her huddled in a cave while I was guarding the tribe."
"I take my leave, healer," Lucas said as he gathered the female in his arms again. By then, the rain had stopped, and he hurriedly ran towards his house.
"Yeah... Oh... wait... who is guarding the tribe now?" Shocked, Healer William shouted after him.
"LUCAS!"

Meanwhile, Lucas was happily carrying the beautiful female in his arms. Finally, his mother and father would have a daughter-in-law. They always teased him, saying he would never find a mate with his brain. He smirked at the thought.
His cottage was nestled in a picturesque location, with a grassland and towering mountains in the background. He lived alone because, after males became adults, they were expected to live independently.
He opened the door and carried her into his bedroom, carefully placing her on his bed. Thank goodness he had a big bed; now they could sleep together comfortably. If she felt cold, she wouldn't even need a quilt. How lucky she was to have a male like him, with such thick fur and handsome features.
"Hmm... now what should I do?" He thought deeply, then his eyes lit up with an idea. "Yeah, I need to dry myself," he decided, heading into the hall to light the fireplace.
After drying himself, he stood before the mirror, admiring his reflection. "I have never seen someone as handsome as you. If that female sees you, she will surely be overwhelmed with happiness," he mused to himself.
Satisfied, he transformed back into his White Wolf form, the one he felt most comfortable in. He quickly climbed onto the bed, snuggling close to the female and wrapping his thick, warm fur around her. He hoped to provide her with comfort from the cold and ensure she felt safe in his presence.
