The annals of dragon heritage recorded these matters.
Lethargy was common among most dragons, paying heed to such affairs only when necessity dictated. Coincidentally, the tome "Charming Dragonrider" drew Caesar's interest.
"Seven continents, the Western Ocean…"
Caesar mused, aware that dominance over this vast Aerlan World was no simple task. Long-term planning seemed prudent.
Only upon reaching adolescence,
And perhaps adulthood,
Would he possess the capital to wander freely.
To do as one pleases in the Aerlan World, one must, at the very least, ascend to legendary status and garner the attention of the gods. Tiamat, the mother of chromatic dragons, would not intercede on his behalf. In the life of a dragon, self-reliance is paramount.
Gazing at the pure and comely maiden before him, Calculations began to form in Caesar's mind.
Procreate!
Fiercely multiply!
One or two offspring would not suffice. No, five or six were surely the bare minimum.
Other than essential training and daily nourishment, Caesar's days were spent ardently alongside Diana, dedicated to the task of bearing children.
Half a month later,
After tireless, nocturnal toil, good tidings arrived. Diana was with child, to Caesar's great delight.
Now all awaited was the birth of his first progeny and with it, the promised rewards from the system.
"Great Caesar, your faithful subject Aurelian seeks an audience!"
At this moment, a crisp voice echoed from beyond the palace walls.
"Enter," replied Caesar, relishing Diana's ministrations while deactivating the palace's protective magics.
Shortly after, a striking woman with an intense aura and cascading dark locks entered, emanating an untamed spirit, her statuesque figure looming at an impressive one-meter-eighty, with ample bosom and shapely posterior, her fair arms adorned with opulent azure feathers. Unused to her new form, there was an apparent lack of grace in her movements.
Aurelian, the Aurelion Hawk, had seen considerable empowerment from the dragon blood transformation and now wielded transformation magic with ease. Although acclimating to human form was initially foreign after spending most time in monstrous shape, adaptation was only a matter of time.
Caesar viewed Aurelian's arrival with a sparkle in his eye.
Though he knew of her beauty upon transformation, her breathtaking visage still managed to surprise, standing shoulder to shoulder with Diana in allure, and offering an even more voluptuous figure.
Naturally,
Dragons harbor no aversion towards their baser desires.
No drake would opt for celibacy, and Caesar was no exception; if anything, his urges were even more potent. Mundane morals and social mores held no sway over the draconic perspective.
Sensing Caesar's smoldering gaze,
Aurelian's heart filled with exultation. As a dragon-blooded being, to dedicate oneself wholly to one's master was proper, and to receive his favor was an immense honor.
Her emerald eyes carefully surveyed Caesar, especially fixated on his formidable strength, her look nearly adhesive, suffused with surprise and intrigue.
"Come here, Aurelian." Caesar beckoned her forth, like a devil leading an innocent astray.
Oblivious,
Aurelian approached briskly, and with a cry of surprise, she was enveloped by Caesar's embrace, her fulsome charms creating ripples against him.
As Caesar instructed Aurelian in position and motion like a strict tutor, she felt discomfort, her voice trembling. But she diligently followed every command, revealing to Diana a vast new world of possibilities.
The physical resilience of magical creatures far exceeds that of humans.
That's beyond my capability!
Diana puzzled to herself.
This is astounding!
Her astonishment grew.
What an epiphany!
She stood in awe.
Ultimately, Aurelian succumbed to Caesar's demands, her magically potent body proving remarkably sensitive, compelling her to cling fiercely to him for solace amidst the surging ecstasy she had never known.
Meanwhile,
Diana couldn't resist joining the fray but soon retreated to support from the sidelines. Rays of pure light spilled from her palms like ripples across water, cleansing the aftermath of their passionate encounter. The seamless use of both cleansing and healing spells was indeed quite convenient.
"I apologize, great Caesar," Aurelian murmured with contrition, feeling as though she had faltered in her duties to satisfy her master.
"You did your best, Aurelian," Caesar assured, his arms wrapped around both women, basking in the feel of their silken skin against his, luxuriating like a deity beyond desire.
Aurelian had underestimated her own endurance after all.
Caesar was still in the throes of youth, his ability to withstand a being as robust as Aurelian was commendable. Most dragons only developed a craving for the opposite sex come maturity, but Caesar was precocious in his desires.
As expected,
In less than half a month, Aurelian too had conceived. Dragonkind tradition states that dragon's gestation was laboriously long, necessitating nearly a decade for an egg to hatch.
For a dragon marrying a human,
If the human bore the child, the process was significantly shorter, completing within a year. Should the dragon be the mother, only a slight extension in term was necessary, as the offspring would be considered dragonkin.
Only through the union of two dragons could a true dragon be born.
As supreme magical beings,
Even the freshly hatched whelps posed formidable risks, thus, both parents had to retain the purity of their blood, accounting for the dragons' scarcity.
If a dragon coupled with a magical creature,
The gestation period was dictated by the mother's might; the more powerful she was, the slower the process, yet also increasing the likelihood of exceptional dragonkin progeny.
Aurelian's term would likely span several times that of Diana's due to the disparity in their magical potencies.
A few years were inconsequential.
For an immortal dragon like Caesar, patience was a virtue. Where most drakes whiled away the eons in slumber, his time was devoted to the grand scheme of dragonkind's revival.
