This world comprises five empires across Three Continents.
The first one is the Human Continent, home to Humans, and beastmen. The continent is home to The Holy empire Valeria, The Technology empire Eldoria, and The Winter empire Frostholm.
The Holy empire Valeria, is a place ruled by the Holy Church, followers of The Supreme One, also known as god. This place has beautiful farms and towns. The knight order deals with the majority of monsters in the area so Adventures don't really have a job at this place. The pope and his family are loved by the people. Their caves have developed a natural resource known as Aetheriat, a magical stone of unknown origin that they trade with the technology empire.
The Technology empire Eldoria is ruled by Emperor George Eldoria. As the name suggests Eldoria has created advanced technology for the Human continent improving medicine, farming, transportations, and weapon development. This empire is important for the Human continent as their technology development is a secret but what is known is that it requires Aetheriat.
The winter Empire Frostholm, is located near mountains and suffers from long winters and short summers. In order to survive they must make trade deals with resources they did not have. Recently a New Emperor took the throne creating a more efficient way to survive, making the empire more secluded. Who their Emperor is and what they did are unknown.
These three empires are currently at peace. There is no point for a war and the holy and technology empire have become dependent on each other for resources, while the winter empire remains secluded.
The second Continent is the Dragon Continent, home to Dragonoids. This place only has one Empire, The Dragonic empire Drakonia, ruled by Emperor Drakonia III. This empire follows one simple rule, the strongest are in control. Those who are weak will not survive here.
The third continent is the Elven Continent, home to Elves, Fairies, and Spirits. This is ruled by the Elven empress Celestia, who is said to be as old as time. Other than that, not much is known about the Elven Continent. They tend to stay to themselves and don't interact with the other races.
The three continents remain at peace but were at war during a great upheaval that tarnished land fertility 50 years ago. This war is still fresh for some because it was the first war they've experienced, especially one that involved the entire world.
This was a simple book about the world. Not much was written in it other than continents and empires. I'm kinda disappointed by this. I was hoping it would tell me how to use magic more efficiently.
Oh well.
"Looks like we're here," my companion said.
"So that's the holy city," I said. "I was expecting more gold."
We made our way into the holy city.
