Soaring Cloud City…
It has been over a month since the devilish horde of the Devil Race rampaged through the Soaring Cloud City, but the ruins of the aftermath and the look of dread etched on the faces of the denizens told tales of the horror they had passed through.
The current Soaring Cloud City was vastly different from its past vibrant self. The sky was filled with gloomy clouds as though the heavens mourned for the deceased, the once bustling streets now had an uncanny resemblance to a ghost town.
The Imperial Guards of the Leng Mansion patrolled the streets vigilantly, serving as the only source of life present. The sentries on their watchtower watched on vigilantly, ready to sound the alarm at any moment's notice at the sight of the vicious Devil Fiends or any other threat.
On the top of a particular watchtower, two sentries conversed as they surveyed their surroundings.
