"It seems you already know a lot. The suits bearing our family crest were designed by me for you, the others are what Kryptonians wear under different environments. Do you like them?" Jor-El, unaware of Clark's discomfort, looked at Clark with anticipation after realizing he knew some things in advance.
These suits, after all, were personally designed by Clark's biological father, Jor-El. Even though this Jor-El was just an AI, it still retained some memories and emotions of Clark's biological father, serving as an extension of his father's consciousness.
Therefore, Jor-El was eager to see Clark's satisfied approval of the suits, fulfilling a small wish of Clark's real father.
Clark, catching Jor-El's hopeful gaze, felt too awkward to express his discomfort about the suit with the red underpants on the outside. Instead, he nodded and smiled warmly, "They are very nice. I like them a lot. They really suit my taste!"
What could he do? Facing the expectant look from his father, Clark truly did not want to reject his kindness.
Even though this 'father' was not Clark's biological father, Clark accepted his presence quickly, having matured through numerous experiences and learned much about Krypton.
"You liking them is good..." Jor-El breathed a sigh of relief, his mood instantly brightening. The AI's emotional system was impressively powerful!
"In fact, my favorite is the one similar to what you're wearing, and next is that one. I can just imagine you wearing it..."
Clark glanced at the suit Jor-El was pointing to, keeping his expression neutral but internally speechless. Why couldn't he get past this red underpants issue?
Feeling a bit helpless, Clark thought about how to tactfully refuse Jor-El's wish for him to wear the red underpants suit. Clearly, Jor-El wanted to see him in that particular outfit.
But could he, Clark, really wear it? Certainly not. If he did, Clark feared it would haunt him, especially if Robert brought it up later, giving him a new handle to tease Clark with.
"Hmm?" As Clark was lost in thought, his ears twitched suddenly, and Jor-El also turned his gaze toward the entrance of the spaceship.
There, Lois Lane cautiously used a flashlight to illuminate the path ahead, occasionally looking back fearfully, worried about what might be lurking behind her.
Bold yet cautious, Lois had found her way here not without reason, otherwise, the soldiers with their advanced equipment would have arrived quicker.
"Oh my God!" However, as soon as Lois entered the spaceship, she exclaimed in surprise. Her instincts as a journalist kicked in, and she quickly pulled out her camera to take pictures. An alien spaceship was undoubtedly hot news!
"Buzz!" But just as Lois took a photo, a hovering guardian robot appeared before her, smashed the camera instantly, and then a beam shot towards Lois!
"Ah!!!" Lois screamed in terror, and just then, a figure knocked the guardian robot away. It was none other than Clark.
Unfortunately, though Clark was quick, he couldn't completely save Lois; the beam still grazed her abdomen. Of course, had Clark not arrived as swiftly, Lois might have ended up much worse, similar to a certain universe's decapitated captains.
"Superman?" Lois looked bewildered, then, ignoring her pain, her eyes burning with fervor, looked at Clark.
A thought flashed through Lois's mind: no one had ever truly reported on Superman himself. If she could successfully report on Superman, she would surely make a name for herself in the world of journalism!
Ignoring her injury, even after a near-death experience, her professional dedication made her forget these concerns. Indeed, a journalist with excellent professional ethics can indeed disregard life and death...
"I didn't expect to meet you here. May I interview you?" Lois's fervent gaze and excited voice made Clark pause; he hadn't expected this girl, bleeding from an abdominal wound, to still think about interviewing him.
"You are hurt, badly. If it isn't treated soon, it could be dangerous..." Clark noted Lois's injury and warned her in a low voice.
"It's okay...ah..." Lois instinctively tried to ignore her pain, but as her attention shifted away from Superman, the pain at her wound finally hit, making her cry out.
"Your injury is in the abdomen; I need to tear open your clothes to stop the bleeding, hang in there!" Clark immediately tore the bottom of Lois's blouse and began to apply first aid.
While Clark didn't know healing magic, he could at least stop the bleeding. If Lois continued to bleed out, she would soon pass out or even die from blood loss...
"Can I interview you after this...ah!!!" Lois did not stop Clark's actions, knowing Superman's good reputation, but she didn't want to miss the chance to interview
him. Unfortunately, before she could finish her sentence, she screamed in pain.
Clark's eyes emitted a controlled burst of heat vision to seal Lois's wound. Pain was inevitable, and the intense pain caused Lois to faint.
Yes, Lois had not passed out when initially injured, but now she did from the pain of the treatment...
"Start the ship. It's been discovered here. Since she could enter, others might follow," Clark said, looking at the unconscious Lois, suddenly feeling an unexpected stir in his heart but quickly dismissing it, turning to Jor-El.
"Where to?" Jor-El asked, not objecting. His AI was created to guide Clark, though he now wasn't sure what had caused the skip in his programming.
"Let's leave this area and head towards the Indian Ocean; I'll guide you." The safest place to store this spaceship wasn't some desolate glacier but a wild island used as a backyard by the Kent family, which already housed three spaceships, though none as large or conspicuous as this one.
With a "buzz," the spaceship started up at Clark's command and lifted off from beneath the glacier at a speed beyond human imagination, vanishing from sight.
The surrounding military's monitoring equipment had just activated when the ground shook and a spaceship disappeared right before their eyes.
"Quick! Track it! There really is a spaceship!" The military's response was quick, but their technology was still far from reaching interstellar standards, let alone comparing to the once-renowned Krypton.
Despite Krypton's eventual fate, from a broader perspective of universal civilization development, Krypton had indeed shone brightly. Who could say that every civilization walks the right path?
Now, even though Krypton's civilization was destroyed, Earth's current technological level couldn't match it. The military's advanced tracking methods instantly lost track of the Kryptonian spaceship, leaving them frustrated and wondering how to explain this to their superiors.
Of course, the military's troubles didn't end there, with Lois's disappearance complicating matters since she was a general's daughter and not easily hidden...
Back on the spaceship, Clark directed the path. Most people can only give directions to a driver in a car, but Clark, a Kryptonian, could guide a Kryptonian spaceship. When he was focused, the scenery outside didn't move any faster than in a car.
"Huh? An interspace?" Jor-El soon expressed surprise. Discovering the wild space interspace wasn't hard with Kryptonian technology.
"Is it easily discovered?" Clark frowned and asked.
"As the last refuge of the Kent and Danvers families, Clark wanted to make it as safe as possible.
"I can reinforce this interspace and transform it into a private one," Jor-El suggested with a smile.
"Is that simple?" Clark asked softly.
"Not exactly simple, it'll take some time, but it's not complicated either..." Jor-El chuckled and explained, "Krypton discovered many interspaces during the interstellar era and could even create its own with technology, so it's not difficult."
"Alright, then please do," Clark nodded, pleased at making the place safer.
Previously, there had been issues with accidental intrusions into the wild island, but with Kryptonian technology modifying it, this problem could be avoided.
"Roar!" Just as Clark finished speaking, a roar came from outside the spaceship. It was Kong, reacting to the sudden intrusion of a Kryptonian spaceship on the wild island. After all, he was following Robert's orders to protect their homeland.
"It's me, make some space," Clark transmitted to Kong after hearing the roar and shaking his head at Kong's T-rex companion.
"Clark?" Kong's intelligence had improved significantly, even surpassing Robert's height when he transformed into a giant ape. Clark wasn't sure how tall Kong might eventually get.
Soon, the spaceship landed smoothly, next to the designated spot for the Kent and Danvers families, where Robert, Clark, and Kara's three spaceships were also located.
"Huh? Another Kryptonian has arrived? So, you activated the key? Why did I lose that data?" Jor-El, noticing another Kryptonian spaceship, seemed to realize something and then looked puzzled. He was also unclear where this Kryptonian spaceship had come from.
"I didn't activate the key, that's Kara's ship..." Clark explained briefly.
"Kara's ship? She also came from Krypton? What happened on Krypton afterward?" Jor-El wasn't aware of the events following Krypton, as he had been created before Clark left Krypton.
"You died at Zod's hands, and Mother perished with Krypton..." Clark relayed the news Kara had told him to Jor-El. Hearing this, Jor-El felt a pang of loss, even though he had prepared himself. Still, learning of Krypton's destruction caused him to fall silent.
"So now, only you and Kara are left
from Krypton. You both need to work hard; you can't let the Kryptonians just die out!" Clark didn't disturb Jor-El's silence, but he hadn't expected Jor-El to start talking about procreation.
"Originally, my purpose was to guide you, lost as you were, to find your purpose on Earth. But now, it seems you've found your direction in life, and my role isn't as important. Mainly because I didn't expect Kara to come..."
Hearing Jor-El's words, Clark paused, an image of his foolish brother Robert flashing before his eyes. He had found his direction in life, not as lost as Jor-El had anticipated, probably all thanks to Robert. As for the procreation issue, Clark felt he needed to clarify.
"Just after that girl fainted, your heart rate was 40.3% faster than usual. Your genes were moved by her..." Before Clark could speak, Jor-El's comment left him puzzled.
"Well, I have a girlfriend, and I wasn't moved..." Clark quickly regained his composure and interrupted Jor-El, "And are you sure when you were created, no strange conceptual structures were added?"
