At the breach of Earth's dimensional gap, as the holy light prepared to surge through the gap into Earth's dimension, it was also the moment when Earth's powerful beings took notice. Nearby dimensions around Earth's released strong bursts of light and power, including Asgardian, Olympian, the fervently sought-after Buddhist aura, the mysterious oriental immortal light, and even the Wakandan power that Clark was all too familiar with, reminiscent of old, unhealed wounds...
The angel, upon seeing the powers from surrounding dimensions blocking her path to Earth, flashed a hint of anger in her eyes, as if recalling some humiliating incident. "Earth is no longer your pasture. Why protect this broken place? I sensed the presence of hellish demons at this gap, and you choose to block me instead of them?!"
"Whether Earth is under our protection is not for Heaven to intrude at will, especially not an angel like you, Gabriel!" A one-eyed old god king's apparition appeared before Gabriel. "This is sacred ground for Heaven! Angels are even less welcome than demons!"
"Nonsense, sacred ground! Odin! If it weren't for all the divine pantheons banding together, how could our Father have lost to you?!" Gabriel, eyeing Odin's apparition with a flash of wariness, quickly turned to roar in anger.
"Have the audacity to say that? Over thirty thousand years ago, we repelled the invaders from Apocalypse Star, a joyous occasion for all. We were to grow and develop on Earth, with the divine pantheons coexisting peacefully and competing without interference, awaiting a future of prosperous divine nations..." The apparition of Zeus, filled with thunderous divine power, also appeared, staring down Gabriel.
"But what did Yahweh do? Driven mad, he sought to harvest all human life to boost his faith power. Did he really see Earth and humanity as his personal flock? If not for his sudden madness, forcing us to expel him, we wouldn't have been discovered by the Divine Assembly, leading to a devastating battle and our eventual withdrawal from Earth's dimension!"
"Now, all divine pantheons have detached from the power of faith, only Heaven hasn't given up. What, you're here to harvest faith on Earth again? Do you think we would allow Heaven to continue like this?"
"I'm not here to harvest faith; I just wanted to see what's happening on Earth..." Gabriel looked at Zeus, wanting to rush up and fight, but knowing even Zeus's apparition was beyond her, let alone with other divine beings watching. Should she dare to make a move, even in her true form, she couldn't win.
Heaven was once among the top pantheons, with Yahweh standing tall among divine kings, feared even by Odin and Zeus. Only the Jade Emperor and Buddha, shrouded in mystery, were considered on par with Yahweh.
But that battle changed everything, with the combined forces of divine pantheons defeating Heaven's singular approach and expelling it first from Earth's dimension, guarded even more strictly than Hell. From that moment, Heaven was no longer the once-dominant divine pantheon...
Facing rejection from other divine pantheons, Gabriel, however frustrated, had no choice but to suppress her anger, clarifying her intentions, which was somewhat humiliating for her.
"If only the Father were here, these fools would pay!" Gabriel thought bitterly, waiting for Zeus and Odin's response.
"You can learn what's happening on Earth, but not by going there yourself. With your strength, who on Earth could stop you?" Odin and Zeus exchanged glances, Odin speaking lightly, "As we said, angels are less welcome than demons. To enter Earth, you must pass through its dimensional restrictions like demons. Of course, we'll stop overly powerful angels, just as we're stopping you..."
Gabriel, enraged by Odin's words, had her holy light burst forth. Heaven and angels being humiliated in such a manner was too much for her to bear, yet unknown to her, this was precisely Zeus and Odin's intention.
Initially displeased with Heaven and angels, they found no excuse to act until Gabriel made her move, providing them with a reason.
The dimensions echoed with the power of Zeus and Odin, with other divine beings hardly bearing to watch yet secretly amused, for seeing Gabriel in such a state was a pleasure for them.
The incident with Yahweh harvesting humanity had indeed angered all, making Heaven unpopular among divine pantheons.
Even if Yahweh himself appeared, he'd likely not escape unscathed, though he's been absent from Heaven for long, with even divine kings unsure of his whereabouts, as if vanished from this universe. If not for their past confrontation with Yahweh, Odin and Zeus might doubt his existence at a higher plane...
After a while, the dimensional turmoil subsided, leaving Gabriel in a sorry state, far from her initial sanctity. She seemed to have crawled out of a mire, her body covered in wounds and dust from the attacks of Odin and Zeus's divine powers.
"The same message as before: if Heaven wishes to understand Earth, send lesser angels. Angels like you, best not appear again, or next time it won't just be us wanting to act..." Zeus and Odin spoke indifferently, their forms vanishing from the spot as other divine beings withdrew their gaze from the disheveled Gabriel, now devoid of the strength to breach Earth's dimension.
"This grudge, I've noted!" Knowing she stood little chance against Zeus and Odin, Gabriel managed a threat to save face, vanishing back into Heaven's dimension of holy light.
Gabriel's appearance was not without impact on Earth's dimension. With Robert and Clark's efforts, along with Kamar-Taj's cooperation, the dimensional formation nearly concealed Earth's dimensional gap.
But Gabriel and the holy light dimension's impact revealed a small breach, not enough to revert Earth to a demon-ravaged state but increasing the number of dimensional stowaways.
Within the holy light dimension, Gabriel submerged in a pool of holy water, far more potent than the holy water used by Constantine, capable of reviving the dead for Heaven's followers. Yet, her injuries healed slowly, not reaching the holy water's expected effects, as they were inflicted by two divine kings, making rapid recovery difficult...
"Asgard, Olympus, the Western Paradise, the Celestial Court, and other divine pantheons, one day, Heaven's vengeance will be served!" Gabriel's eyes flickered coldly, her heart unchanged by the holy water's calming effects, even hinting at a fleeting darkness.
"But do you think, with the Loom of Fate destroyed, we have no other recourse? A mere dimensional formation can't fully isolate us. Wait and see, even if I can't descend to Earth's dimension, I'll uncover what's happened on Earth!"
Her words left the vicinity of the holy water pool in utter silence, the entire holy light dimension seemingly lifeless, or perhaps, like Gabriel before, in a slumbering state.
Meanwhile, at the Kent farm on Earth, Robert sensed a powerful presence lingering before vanishing, his enhanced hearing unable to catch the interdimensional dialogue.
But Clark was different, capturing every word between Gabriel and the divine kings, falling into silence.
Truthfully, Clark held respect for Heaven, angels, and Yahweh, influenced by the Kents, who saw their children as gifts from God.
Thus, influenced
by the Kents, Clark felt a certain fondness for Heaven and God, even after learning from the Black Panther god Bast that deities weren't as perfect as imagined. But now, hearing the interdimensional conversation, Clark's favorable view of Heaven collapsed, as Gabriel's acknowledgment of events thirty thousand years ago confirmed Yahweh's intent to harvest humanity for faith power.
Yahweh's actions offended other divine pantheons, who sought sustainable development. If humanity were harvested, what faith power would remain for others?
Thus, the divine pantheons united to expel Heaven, only to be discovered by the enigmatic Divine Assembly, leading to a new conflict...
Clark, unaware of these latter events, now viewed Heaven with disdain, curious about the Apocalypse Star invaders and the Divine Assembly.
From the dialogue, it was clear the invaders had temporarily united the divine pantheons, while the Divine Assembly seemed to overpower them, forcing their withdrawal from Earth, surrounding its dimension...
"Heaven, Yahweh, Apocalypse Star, Divine Assembly..." Names flashed through Clark's mind, witnessing the battle gave him a new understanding of divine power, especially Zeus and Odin's might, pressuring even him.
"So powerful! Indeed, terrifyingly strong beings exist!" Robert, in another room, was excited, unaware of the events but thrilled by the powerful aura.
