Chapter 236 - Chapter 236: The Showdown!

"Hmm?" Hearing the voice of the hell demon, Robert frowned and a fierce aura erupted from him. A violent wind swept around him, isolating all the hellish aura that was approaching.

"Whoosh!" Just as Robert's actions had concluded, a powerful force burst forth from the hell demon, rivaling the explosion before in intensity, if not in destructive power.

"Clang!" Tony Stark's armor was sent flying by the impact, landing awkwardly on the ground. Looking at the armor, one could see several notches on it, though it was unclear what had caused them.

And Tony Stark's armor was relatively unscathed compared to the surveillance equipment sent by other forces, which was now completely destroyed by the shockwave. This left viewers unable to see the fight between Robert and the hell demon.

Even the surveillance equipment outside the hell domain could no longer see inside, as the domain had been completely claimed by the hell demon, making it impenetrable to outside views and technology, unless someone dared to enter the domain.

This made the viewers watching the live feed very anxious and impatient. They didn't want to watch unclear scenes, even though they knew superheroes and terrifying enemies were inside, but they couldn't feel any threat...

"Shit, could it be that he can't win?" Doubt flashed in Tony Stark's eyes. When he saw the fight between Robert and the hell demon, he couldn't tell if Robert had the upper hand. And now, it seemed like the hell demon had completely taken over the domain, making Tony Stark worry.

For this, Tony Stark summoned a large number of armors, including a giant mech connected to a huge arc reactor. According to Tony Stark's calculations, this mech could unleash a force not inferior to the hell demon's recent outburst.

But such measures could only be used as a last resort, especially given their destructive power. Tony Stark couldn't guarantee there wouldn't be more widespread destruction...

"How about it, little guy? My true form hasn't scared you stiff, has it?" Inside the hell domain, the mocking voice of the hell demon came from above Robert, who saw a monstrous figure laughing menacingly at him, as if it had already won the battle.

"I was planning to have a proper fight with you, but it seems I can't hide anymore!" Robert shrugged, smiling at the ferocious hell demon. Such a gigantic opponent was rare, and indeed, the hell demon in this form was putting a lot of pressure on him.

So, Robert made his move. "I'm not a mere human, little guy, I'm a Saiyan Great Ape!"

"Nonsense!" The hell demon, who was stretching its body and enjoying its peak condition within the hell domain, was suddenly interrupted by Robert's declaration. Anger flashed in its eyes as it stomped towards Robert, intending to squash him like an ant.

"Boom!" However, when the hell demon's foot came down, it found that something was amiss. It hadn't hit the ground but was blocked by a powerful force!

"Roar!" A roar echoed through the hell domain, even reaching outside, startling Tony Stark and the live viewers.

The hell demon felt a tremendous force overturning it, causing it to stagger backward. It's pupils shrank as it saw a giant ape, slightly taller than itself, grinning ferociously.

"You're not human?" The hell demon looked at Giant Ape Robert with a grave expression, asking aloud.

"Do I look like a human to you?" Giant Ape Robert didn't bother with any fancy moves against the hell demon, dashing forward and throwing a punch.

Giant Ape Robert's speed was beyond the hell demon's expectations, who could feel that this form of Robert was much stronger than before.

"Boom!" A loud noise followed as the hell demon's fist collided with Giant Ape Robert's. The force exceeded the hell demon's imagination, shaking the ground around them. Despite the hell domain acting as a home ground, the shockwaves still spread out, shaking distant cities with its terrifying force.

In this collision, the hell demon was thrown back, creating a series of craters in the ground. It stared at Robert in disbelief, struggling to accept the outcome.

The hell demon knew its power had returned to its peak within the hell domain, making it as strong as when it was in hell. In hell, it was among the top demons, otherwise, it wouldn't aspire to become a higher-level hell lord.

But now, it had lost to Robert in a clash. When Robert was human, the hell demon felt no threat and even toyed with him. How could it be that after turning into a Giant Ape, it couldn't defeat him? Was it being toyed with?

As the hell demon pondered, Giant Ape Robert didn't waste time thinking during the fight, especially when it wasn't over.

"Boom!" The hell demon barely had time to react before it was hit again, blood spilling from its wounds - this time, it was genuinely injured.

"Such a mistake. I haven't fought in so long since becoming a top-level demon, and my mindset was off!" However, the hell demon quickly recovered, climbing out of the crater and adjusting its mindset and power, ready to face Giant Ape Robert's next charge with a blast of hell energy.

"Hmm?" Giant Ape Robert was about to dodge, but he wasn't sure what was behind him. Although it was a wasteland, a blast at this level could reach distant cities, potentially causing a disaster. It was better to keep the fight's destructive power contained here, especially with the hell domain's weakening.

"Roar!" Giant Ape Robert faced the incoming hell energy beam, opening his mouth wide to unleash a powerful energy blast, colliding with the hell energy.

The two vastly different energies clashed, cracking the ground around them. Despite the hell domain's attempt to contain the destruction, the ongoing output of energy from both combatants made the energies grow increasingly terrifying, even threatening to disperse the surrounding hell domain.

"Boom!" Eventually, the energies exploded, and the hell demon, refusing to let the energy blast overwhelm it, demonstrated its significant energy reserves.

The explosion shook the ground once more, expanding the hell domain's range but weakening its density, indicating a decline in its reinforcing capability.

"Boom!" As the explosion's energy faded, Giant Ape Robert vanished from his spot, reappearing in front of the hell demon. The hell demon, unaccustomed to such an intense battle rhythm for many years, was still a formidable opponent, having fought its way up to its current status. It stubbornly held on, not losing to Giant Ape Robert outright.

The hell demon thought Robert's Giant Ape form must have a limit; it was unreasonable for a human to continuously maintain such a transformation or for a Giant Ape to hide as a human. Even with its extensive knowledge, the hell demon had never seen such a thing. Surely, one form must be Robert's true nature.

But unknown to the hell demon, Robert's cells were filled with the power of moonlight. Although he hadn't developed this power to enhance his physical qualities like Clark, it allowed him to maintain his Giant Ape form for an extended period.

Thus, the hell demon's plan to exhaust Giant Ape Robert's energy and force him back into human form was practically impossible. It would be more realistic to deplete Robert's energy directly than rely on such a tactic.

"Thump!"

"Thump!"

"Thump!"

Inside the hell domain, Giant Ape Robert and the hell demon continued to clash, their massive bodies causing catastrophic damage to the surrounding area. To nearby humans, this was a disaster of apocalyptic proportions, transforming from a man-made disaster into a natural calamity. Tony Stark frowned deeply, lacking a viable solution.

Rush in to take a look? That was a joke; his armor was already breaking without even entering the fray. If he actually went in, it wouldn't last long.

Tony Stark wasn't concerned about losing an armor, but he didn't want to waste it either, especially since the armors were reserved for aiding in the battle's outcome, should Robert truly lose.

"Heave! Heave! Heave!" While Tony Stark was deep in thought, unbeknownst to him, a hidden shapeshifting demon was terrified. It had intended to observe the battle between Robert and its master, the hell demon, only to witness its master struggling against a giant ape and not gaining the upper hand at all.

The shapeshifting demon was so frightened that it ran out immediately, not daring to stay a moment longer, fearing that Giant Ape Robert might crush it with a casual step.

"How could this be? He was clearly a human. How could he turn into a terrifying giant ape?" The shapeshifting demon pondered in confusion, shrinking its neck while mumbling to itself.

Despite the dire situation, the shapeshifting demon dared not leave, as it was imbued with power from the hell demon. If it fled, regardless of whether the hell demon won or lost, lived or died, its own survival was at stake.

Thus, the shapeshifting demon had no choice but to stay, hoping for the hell demon's ultimate victory.

"Heave! Heave! Heave!" Meanwhile, another figure arrived on the scene, none other than the constantly on-the-move Constantine. He had been darting between cities to find Robert's location, only to end up witnessing Robert engaging the hell demon in battle.

Even with the hell domain's separation, Constantine could still sense the hell demon's presence, knowing that the demon had taken over the human form intended for it. However, he hadn't expected Robert to actually be able to fight the hell demon, especially in its prime condition.

"Maybe we should let bygones be bygones? I've managed to avoid the hell lord and hell demon's pursuit mainly because they can't often manifest on Earth in their true forms. But this guy is so powerful, what if he targets me? Wouldn't I be doomed?" Constantine muttered to himself, feeling intimidated by the force of the collision between Robert and the hell demon.

"Wait, that's not right. It was just a minor issue before. As they say, no fight, no acquaintance. We don't have any deep hatred between us. In fact, it was he who took my stuff, and he didn't know I was using the hell demon to scheme against him."

"Perhaps, I could establish a good relationship with him. Then, if I encounter any trouble in the future, wouldn't I have another summon at my disposal? Do I need to worry about hell demons then? I could even provoke a hell lord... Hm?"

As Constantine was speaking, he suddenly sensed something, turning his gaze to an empty space nearby. Smiling, he said, "It seems my opportunity to prove my allegiance has arrived. This demon is not so simple; I must be cautious and careful not to mess this up."

As Constantine quietly began forming various magical sigils, mysterious magics rose and quickly vanished. Before the shapeshifting demon could react, a magic formation was quietly set up around him.

"Oh no!" By the time the shapeshifting demon realized what was happening, it was too late. Known for his cunning, Constantine rarely failed in his schemes, trapping the shapeshifting demon within the formation, forcing it to reveal its true form...
