Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Clark's Advice (Edited)

The matter of Arkham Asylum was quickly left behind, and the topic of beating Robert to the brink of death was also dropped for the time being. As for whose brain had issues, both Robert and Clark had their answers, each firmly believing they were in the right.

After a hearty meal, Clark and Robert returned home, and the Kent family set off in their old pickup truck towards the hamburger eating contest in Missouri.

During the trip, Robert didn't waste any time. Instead of sitting in the back seat of the pickup, he chose to meditate in the open truck bed, exercising his Qi through sheer willpower.

Clark, on the other hand, lay next to him, basking in the sun, feeling extremely comfortable and at ease. He also sensed that his body was becoming stronger.

"Robert's training methods are effective!" Unaware of the actual reason, Clark harbored a pleasant misunderstanding and decided to continue training with Robert in the future.

The Kent's old pickup didn't travel very fast, especially compared to the speed at which Robert and Clark could run. However, Smallville wasn't too far from Missouri, especially since their destination, Kansas City, was located at the border of Kansas and Missouri and administratively belonged to Missouri.

By evening, the Kent family had settled in a hotel in Kansas City. The burger eating contest was creating quite a buzz, and being a bustling city, Kansas City was already teeming with people.

Robert wasn't particularly interested in the city's hustle and bustle, as the cities in the Dragon Ball world, both in terms of urbanization and greenery, were far superior, not to mention the level of technological development.

However, Robert was looking forward to the hamburger eating contest. Thanks to the event's popularity, many food vendors were around, allowing Robert to sample a variety of delicious foods to his heart's content.

"Robert?" While Robert was enjoying his meal, a hesitant female voice reached his ears. He glanced over and saw a woman with freckles and a curvaceous figure, who seemed somewhat familiar, but he couldn't place her and thus didn't pay much attention, turning back to his food.

"Alena, what's wrong?" A muscular blonde man approached Alena, followed by two slack-looking boys. It was apparent that the two boys were young, indicating that the blonde man wasn't much older, just appearing more mature.

Had Robert stayed, he might have recognized these three boys as his classmates and the notorious trio of bullies at school. The leader was O'Keegan, with his lackeys, Ander and Alec. Although not every school has such a trio, bullying is unfortunately common.

Previously, due to Robert's dull demeanor, he was often bullied by O'Keegan's gang. If not for Clark showing some of his strength, the bullying might have been even worse.

"It's Robert, he's here too!" Alena said hesitantly, "But he doesn't seem as dull anymore..."

"That idiot? Is he alone? Clark isn't with him?" O'Keegan looked around warily, clearly apprehensive.

"It's him. I won't mistake his hairstyle and height. And it seems he's alone..." Alena looked puzzled, as she noticed a change in Robert's demeanor that was distinctly different from before, clearly not the gaze of an idiot.

"Why would an idiot come out alone? He must be with his family. Forget about him. I found something fun over there. Shall we check it out?" Alec shrugged, not wanting to waste their outing on someone like Robert, hoping for some nighttime excitement.

"Let's forget about him. We'll deal with it back at school," O'Keegan decided, turning away with Alena. Alena wanted to say something, but O'Keegan's hand moved lower, distracting her from further concern about Robert.

"When dealing with ordinary people, don't be too violent. I don't know what it's like on your planet, but on Earth, you can't just kill people or hurt them without consequences. It will cause trouble!" Meanwhile, Clark found Robert eating fried chicken and whispered a warning.

"Huh?" Robert blinked, confused by Clark's advice.

Clark had overheard O'Keegan's conversation, especially since they mentioned Robert, which caught his attention. Considering Robert's request to be beaten to near death, Clark felt it necessary to remind Robert to restrain himself in conflicts with ordinary people.

"My dad always advised me not to show off my abilities in public, except maybe during the eating contest..." Clark reiterated, seeing Robert's lack of understanding.

"Don't worry, I have far greater control over my strength than you. I know how to handle ordinary people..." Robert, unaware of what Clark had discovered, confidently reassured him, "After all, I'm a well-rounded warrior!"

Robert: Confident

"As long as you're aware," Clark nodded, not probing further into Robert's methods.

To Clark, someone who had intuitively mastered many abilities, understanding how to deal with ordinary people wasn't far-fetched, especially after witnessing Robert's capabilities. Clark even began to wonder if he had lost part of his memory during his arrival on Earth, otherwise, why didn't he understand his racial abilities as well as Robert?
