Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Robert Stands at 1.61 Meters (Edited)

Fifteen years of warm family memories allowed Robert to slowly adapt to this new world and accept his new family. After all, those fifteen years of experience were real and genuine, and the Kent family's care and concern for him were without any ulterior motives.

It takes genuinely good people to patiently care for and nurture an almost demented alien who hardly communicates with outsiders, as the Kent family did for so many years.

Thus, in Robert's heart, the Kent family became his relatives in this new world! The reason Robert was so sure he had transgressed into a new world was that he found himself on Earth.

In the worldview of Dragon Ball, only Universes 6 and 7 contain Earth, with Universe 6's Earth having been restored by a wish to the God of Destruction.

Even including several variant future timelines, none had an Earth in a state of numerous sovereign nations like this one.

In the Dragon Ball world, except for a few small countries, Earth is largely unified, with both humans and animals being part of the Earth Kingdom.

This world's Earth seems to have the same geopolitical layout as the Earth before Robert's transmigration to the Dragon Ball universe, but Robert was certain this was not his original Earth.

His brother Clark's various displays told him that this was a world inhabited by a warrior with a powerful physique! Although it seemed this warrior was not much of a fighter, he was indeed powerful! Even more so, Robert faintly felt that Clark's casually displayed abilities resembled those of a comic character named Superman, although Robert couldn't be sure.

Robert was only vaguely aware of Superman as a comic character; he didn't know the specifics, especially since Clark lacked the iconic red "S" symbol.

Moreover, in Robert's era before transmigration, movie adaptations of comics hadn't become popular in his surroundings. What appealed most to Robert and his peers were major shonen manga like Dragon Ball, Slam Dunk, Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece.

It was only later that titles like Dr. Slump, Old Master Q, and subsequent works by Manhua Comics became popular, as evidenced by the sales of manga and sticker books around schools.

Before his transmigration, Robert had only vaguely heard of Superman, Spider-Man, and Batman, knowing nothing of their names or stories.

Thus, for Robert, this was an almost entirely unfamiliar world, but fortunately, this unfamiliar world seemed to harbor powerful beings!

"Brother Clark is also an alien, adopted by mom and dad after his spaceship landed nearby..." Robert thought of Clark, his eyes lighting up with excitement.

"Goku also had a similar experience. The existence of aliens at least proves that there are powerful beings in this universe's civilization. Even if Earth lacks many powerful beings, with the two spaceships at home, I can travel to space to find strong beings to train and fight!"

Robert had experienced many space travels. As long as there were sufficiently strong opponents, even the long and solitary space voyages couldn't deter Robert's determination or patience. In his thirst for battle and formidable opponents, Robert was no less eager than any pure-blooded Saiyan. "Huh? Wait, I am a Saiyan now! Although I'm not entirely sure why I came here in a Saiyan pod, it seems the Super Dragon has recognized the potential of a Saiyan!" Realizing this, Robert clenched his fists, his eyes shining with excitement and anticipation.

"With the body of a Saiyan, I will definitely break past my previous limits and achieve greater strength! Robert, that's a good name, somewhat connected to Kakarot and Vegeta. From now on, I am Saiyan Robert!"

"Whoosh!" Just as Robert was reveling in thoughts of the future, a figure rapidly approached. With Robert's current strength, he was unable to detect this figure in advance, after all, he was just an ordinary, untrained Saiyan.

Despite his naturally superior physical quality compared to humans, Robert still had a long way to go to match real powerhouses, especially since the newcomer was Clark, who had been basking in the sun for twenty-seven years.

"Robert?" Clark, silhouetted against the sun and gleaming with golden light, appeared before Robert with a puzzled look. Clearly, he noticed something different about Robert.

"Brother." Robert smiled at Clark and nodded, softly explaining, "The impact when the spaceship landed might have been too strong, so my brain, in order to protect itself, sealed off most of my consciousness. Fortunately, I've fully recovered now. Sorry for worrying you!"

For fifteen years, Robert's dazed behavior had deeply concerned the Kent family. However, due to Robert's special status and his distinctly non-human tail, they dared not take him to a hospital for examination.

It was Clark's X-ray-like vision that reassured the Kents that Robert had no hidden illnesses. Otherwise, they might have considered cutting off Robert's tail before taking him for a check-up.

"Really? That's great! I'll tell mom and dad right away; we'll celebrate tonight..." Clark was overjoyed, eager to share the good news with his parents.

"Wait!" Robert quickly stopped Clark, his gaze intense and full of fighting spirit. "Brother, I want to test your strength. Although my energy is weak and I can't fully sense your power, I know you're strong..."

"Energy?" Clark paused, then hesitantly replied, "Is that your special ability? I can see that the organs and cells in your body are far stronger than normal humans, making you much stronger than even well-trained adults. Among all the people I've met, you're the strongest besides me..."

"But compared to me, you might still need to grow a bit, since you're still young and haven't fully developed."

Clark's factual statement came off as boastful, perhaps embodying true modesty!

However, the term "humblebrag" hadn't been coined in Robert's era.

Clark's comment about Robert not being fully developed was true, perhaps due to Saiyan genetics or just being fifteen years old...

Currently, Robert stood at just 1.61 meters, among the shortest in his school, counting both boys and girls.

Even if Robert didn't mind too much, after merging memories and getting to know his body, he still felt a bit helpless and annoyed.
