Green forests, blue skies and an erratic symphony of grunting, howling, plus all kinds of noises you might expect deep in the forest.
Further off in the distance, almost as if it were splitting the blue sky in half, a huge mountain could be seen. No, it was not merely a mountain, but a whole valley of them, which rose up beyond the clouds themselves.
"Come on Inuyasha, let's just consider it... Isn't there another way to... You know, fix your problem?"
Being grabbed by the left leg by Inuyasha, the blonde-haired young man, obviously Asahiko, tries to reason as he is dragged passively along the ground.
"Not that you would help me, Asahiko? Now is just the time for you to prove it."
"Master Inuyasha, consider your proposal, it is far-fetched to fight the Dragon Spirit head-on."
"Keep quiet, Myoga!"
Letting out a hollow laugh, with clearly feigned anger, Inuyasha squeezes Asahiko's limb tighter, before starting to walk faster, completely ignoring the flea yokai Myoga.
It was very obvious that Inuyasha was enjoying this situation, so perhaps it wasn't the best choice to have upset him earlier, though only Asahiko will know.
"Sure, I was going to help you... Not kill myself, you crazy bastard. Have you heard what Saya and the flea here said?"
"That it has nearly invulnerable scales, can fly, control storms, and also possesses enormous energy?"
"Yes, yes, that very thing! Now why don't we try to solve your problems in the traditional way, that is... Let's talk like civilized people!"
At this point, Asahiko places the most "Cute" expression he could on his face, causing Inuyasha to look at him with clear contempt and Myoga as well.
"That was disgusting... Don't do that again... Please."
"You, me, whaa.. What?"
Going completely blank at the sight of Inuyasha's clear displeasure, Asahiko's self-esteem seems to get hurt, managing to make him go limp and silent for now.
...Christopher/Asahiko pov...
We've made it, despite my resignation, which by the way was perhaps a bit feigned... Okay, 70/30, I have a logical side OK? And this seems like a bad idea.
We're two people with clear control issues, one more than the other... I hope I'm the one with the lesser problem. I mean, I think it's a really bad idea to fight a dragon in our state.
"Hey... We can talk about it."
"Late, Asahiko... Too late."
Those short words that Inuyasha just said, make my senses tingle and I finally open my eyes.
Yes, in all this time since we arrived at the foot of the mountain valley, I kept my eyes closed... Which wasn't difficult with my superhuman senses, I only had to climb upwards for about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
At first it was a wahh, because of the beautiful scenery, then it was a whoo, because of the sheer power of the wind up here, and to finish it was... Silence.
"Are we really going to fight it, Inuyasha? Don't you even want to think about it... A little bit?"
"Tsk, you sound like a coward."
"Coward, no, my friend. I just don't want to later remember this and say something like, 'I should have listened to my reason or something. Now I'm going to be able to put all the blame on you."
Putting on a smile as if my plan had gone perfectly, I enjoy the look of annoyance coming from Inuyasha and sit down on a nearby rock, so I can observe the beast we are going to fight.
It was simply huge, easily over 50 meters long with its serpentine body. Its scales are a green color, although it is more likely to be because of the vegetation that grows there, plus there is a huge fang through one section.
On its dragon head, a human mask is embedded, very similar to one of those used in theatrical plays. Four powerful limbs adorn his body, which each bear four fingers.
"Pss, Pss, Myoga."
"How, what... What can I do for you young Asahiko?"
"Oh, relax, I'm not interested that you're running away from the problem, though I do have a doubt."
Making it clear that I'm not interested in his escape, although Inuyasha might hit him later, I get up from the rock and start looking towards the fang that keeps the dragon impaled.
"Ahem, ahem... Speak, I can assure you that I can be any answer to you."
"Wow how trustworthy you are Myoga, though if Asahiko hadn't noticed you would be far away from here."
Oops, what bad luck, it looks like he was grabbed by Inuyasha and that face makes it very clear what is going to happen.
"Master Inuyasha, you must understand that I can't do anything here... I have a family, I can't just die as if nothing happened."
"Now you come out with that... Cowardly old man."
"Children, children, children, I have nothing against you fighting, but you are going to listen to me doubt or not."
Clapping his hands to get the attention of these two idiots, I walk to the right and then to the left in an attempt to get a better look at that fang.
"Ahem, speak, young Asahiko."
"Well, my question is... Did Inuyasha's father have cavities?"
"What are you talking about Asahiko, that's something that."
A loud laugh shushes Inuyasha, who looked seriously confused by my question, which is normal for him... Yeah, the other time was just an exception.
"Hahaha, I thought I hid perfectly."
"Naraku!"
"Inuyasha, I know what his name is... Anyway, hello stalker-san."
Giving Inuyasha a blank stare, while saying the super obvious, he turned his face towards the fangirl again and greets stalker-san.
Stalker is still wearing his white baboon cloak, while standing in a resting position and holding his hand over the fang.
"Wow, I didn't think we were going to meet again here, Asahiko."
" Sure and I believe it~"
"What the hell are you doing here, Naraku!"
"Inuyasha, Inuyasha... Why talk, when you can act."
Finishing his words with a sinister laugh, from Naraku's palm a corrosive miasma begins to emanate, causing the fang to melt little by little.
"He's broken the seal, we're doomed!"
"Shut up, you cowardly flea!"
Throwing Myoga to the ground, Inuyasha finally pulls Steel Fang out of his sheath, though Naraku begins to slowly disappear into thin air.
"Hahaha, see you soon... Sure, if you manage to survive this."
Just as if on cue, the fang finishes melting, leaving an opening in the Dragon Spirit's scales.
From there emerges a red colored energy, he managed to feel it even from here, the pure evil and power that represents light.
"Well, well~ A fight it is."
"That's the way to talk, but wait... Not that you didn't want to do that."
"Inuyasha, I didn't want to take the blame for waking him up, but now? Hahaha, why not do it!
Slowly withdrawing Clouded Fang from its sheath, I stand to one side of Inuyasha, at the same time as we both ignore Myoga and his hysteria.
