Dozens of explosions are created each for every passing minute, causing rocks to be crushed, lava to be thrown skyward, and the air to be stirred.
It was obviously not something natural, but Inuyasha and Asahiko, who are engaged in a combat of pure, brute force.
"My house, why are you doing this to my poor house!"
Shouting from a distance as he hides behind his ox, Totosai points his finger at the two troublemakers, but doesn't seem to feel like intervening.
"Isn't this good, Totosai? Now he's taking it upon himself to get all his frustrations and doubts out on Inuyasha, a good thing before a fight!"
Floating to the side of the frightened Totosai, the spirit of Clouded Fang, Saya, makes an appearance and decorates Asahiko's simple brawl with a tinge of good-naturedness.
"Of course it's good, Inuyasha must be in the best state, to stand a chance against the Dragon Spirit. But why must they destroy my house!"
"Knowing Asahiko, he must be doing it on purpose. Maybe revenge ahead of time? By the way, this is..."
Changing the subject after giving his point of view, Saya the spirit floats up to the ox and looks at what rests on its back.
It was a sword of the straight type, without any kind of curve to its blade, just like katanas have. Its hilt lacked any detail, either of style or richness. The only notable thing about such a weapon, would be that its blade is wrapped in white cloth and that it lacks a scabbard.
"Yes, I call it Gizen-teki."
"Gizen-teki... Wasn't there something better?"
Saya clearly knew that it was in bad taste to go against the blacksmith's chosen names, but she still had to point out the bad taste.
"No name does it more honor than this one, don't you believe me... What can you see?"
"A simple, straight sword wrapped in white cloth, Totosai."
Holding up a finger for each description he gives, whether it be "Simple" "Straight" or "No details", Saya stands waiting for what Totosai will say.
"It can even affect a spirit... I see it as a perfect Wakizashi, with a completely dark hilt and with its blade wrapped in white cloth."
"Then which one?"
*Boooom*
The explosion in the distance did little to calm Saya and Totosai, who looked at the sword with a slight frown.
"I understand what you want to ask, but I don't know which one is the real one either. Maybe they both are, though maybe neither is."
"Have you tried talking to her?"
"Yes, but she's always been silent and she doesn't react either when I try to wield it....did I try?.... Of course... But..."
Both Saya's and Totosai's faces darken as they noticed the latter's hindrances, it was obvious that something had happened to him when using it.
"Will it be dangerous for Asahiko?
"I don't think so, foxes excel in the art of the mind... On the other hand, it wasn't created to be a weapon of destruction, but more of the complementary type, such as Sacred Fang."
Even with the assurances they gave each other, neither seems to be absolutely confident of what that sword can accomplish.

"Enough, enough...I said enough!"
Taking a step forward, I hold Clouded Fang with both hands and make a sharp slash on Steel Fang's blade, getting the change of force to bury the sword into the ground.
"Ah, ah, grr"
"God, calm down already you look like a... Well I'm not going to say it."
Guarding Clouded Fang, I notice the slight growl coming from Inuyasha, causing a smile to spread across my face and a small sneer tries to come out, but I manage to control myself.
"Ump, coward."
"What?"
Watching as Inuyasha turns Steel Fang back to his small form, he was shocked to hear his proud words. It's like I won you know, he said I even disarmed him, where did that confidence come from?
While considering such things, I finally noticed that Inuyasha had already gone to where Totosai and Saya are. Truth be told, I have no idea when Saya left Clouded Fang, but finishing all of the above, I head towards the three of them.
"Why is everyone walking around with those long faces?"
Wrapping his arm around Inuyasha's neck, sibling hug style, he looked at Totosai and Saya as he asked about their long faces.
It could have been worse, we held back pretty well with Inuyasha, plus it was a good deal. A little damage to your house, in exchange for a calmer Inuyasha... Yeah, Totosai has me to thank.
"Asahiko, what do you see?"
"Obviously a sword. By the way, is the scabbard separate or what, Totosai?"
Ignoring Inuyasha who is trying to break free from my brotherly embrace, he pointed out the obvious. I mean, obviously it's a sword plus a scabbard, so where's my scabbard?".
"I make you a weapon and you complain, kids these days sure are ungrateful. In my day... AhhhAhhh, don't hit me!"
"Then answer it."
There was no need for me to hit him, I just had to raise my hand and Totosai just got the whole story done.
"Asahiko, you can leave the topic about the scabbard aside and answer me."
"Saya, it's a normal sword, too normal for my taste, but it'll do."
Literally not that I want to be vague with the description, but the sword really doesn't possess anything that makes it stand out.
It has a black colored hilt, while from the end of its handle hang two small golden strips. Its blade seems a bit shorter than Clouded Fang's and is wrapped in white cloth.
"Well... Asahiko, take the sword."
"Ha, right, you think I haven't noticed how weird the situation is? I'm not like the idiot under my arm."
They think I'm dumb, that smells like there's something wrong there from miles away.
"You want to fight, hairball!"
"Sure, there's even something better for your head to test this beauty."
Obviously there's something wrong with that sword, but in the end I'm going to have to use it anyway, so why hesitate and especially here I have my lab rat, Inuyasha who will help me test it.
"¡On guardddd!"
Before I could finish saying the "On guard", a glow emerges from the blade of the sword and the clothes that were keeping the blade hidden disappear.
"Hahaha, do you want to borrow a stick?"
"Shut up..."
"Good, good... Hahahahahaha and you were all confident, stop, stop. on guard! Hahahahaha!"

It doesn't have a blade... The damn gun doesn't have a blade! Yeah, that long, sharp part that you're supposed to cut with, stab with, plus everything else, it's gone. It doesn't have a blade, it's just a hilt!.
"To, To, Sai!"
"But what did I do now?"
