"Haaaaa!"
Letting out a scream that seems to become more and more like an angry growl as time goes by, Inuyasha the half-beast man who has undergone a brutal transformation, makes an attack attempt in Asahiko's direction.
Inuyasha's movements were quick, lethal and seem to carry a raw bestiality within, almost as if he only had in purpose to murder his opponent as fast as possible.
"You almost hit me~ not there~ over there either~"
"Stop messing with him already!"
"¡Haaaaa!"
*Booooom*
With another angry growl soaring skyward, Inuyasha slams his fist into the ground, sending chunks of dirt, rock, and dust into the surrounding area. This was a calculated move, showing again that despite his madness, Inuyasha maintains some affiliated fighting instincts. Continuing with this new tactic, Inuyasha takes advantage of the newly created dust cloud and attempts to attack Asahiko's blind spots.
Inuyasha's claws pierce Asahiko's chest as if it were made of paper, followed by that, Inuyasha moves his arm quickly in an attempt to escape from there, though the increasingly transparent image of Asahiko seems not to let him escape and then down Inuyasha's surprise, a pod hits him directly in the head.
*boom*
"Inuyasha!"
"Wow thanks for your concern~"
"Sorry... No, Inuyasha is the one being hit!"
Christopher/Asahiko pov.
It was interesting to hear an apology from someone with a face so similar to Kikyo's, though after a few seconds Kagome comes to herself and throws a counter argument at me. Well, I didn't expect rationality from someone in love... Yes, well they say love makes them idiots... Although that logic doesn't seem applicable in these parts. Kikyo might want to kill Inuyasha and even Kagome, Naraku obviously has a little obsession with Kikyo and Inuyasha is the same way. Love is not for idiots, but for dangerous people.
"Kagome, why is she trembling while looking at you?"
"I don't know Shippo, but I'm starting to feel offended."
Tsh, damn you meddling tanuki, I was even able to keep Miroku from noticing my tremors. wait! I may be good at acting, but Miroku is pretty good at spotting the little details... Wait, is he seriously trying to flirt with Sango while fighting me here in front.
"Hopefully. haha. Well done tanuki."
Muttering under my breath and laughing a little louder than average, as I watch Shippo jump on Miroku and start biting his head off, due to him trying to get a little too close to Sango. Unable to enjoy Miroku's unfortunate situation, he can feel the last of my illusions being forcibly shattered.
Yes, in this whole moment of stupid thoughts, Inuyasha was fighting against my illusions without even realizing that they are false. To be more accurate, his transformation gave him more speed, lethality and thanks to his instincts he was always going for the certain death zones. Outwardly it looked like an improvement, but it was only a weakness when he was fighting against me, I literally just created an illusion open to attack and he would jump into it.
"Congratulations, you have destroyed my last illusion!"
"Ha... Ha... Ha... hagrrr!"
"Someone seems to still have plenty of energy. pod strike!"
Shouting exaggeratedly as he grabbed the sheath of the Clouded Fang, he noticed how Inuyasha jumped towards another illusion. ¿Who's going to be such an idiot to fight head on against a rabid animal? Pulling those thoughts out, I punch him in the lower abdomen.
"Ouch, that must hurt."
"Miroku... Don't say something that could be misinterpreted. You should be able to tell that I didn't hit him in that area."
"Scrambled eggs?"
"Shippo, who taught you that!"
"It was Miroku, Kagome!"
Behind me, all hell seems to have broken loose on Miroku, but that's not what's important right now, it's Inuyasha who is already on his last legs and you never know what a cornered beast will do.
"Agrr, agherrr"
Like a wounded dog, Inuyasha began to growl in my direction in an attempt to intimidate me and make me back down out of fear. I obviously didn't give his growls any importance, but I also didn't want the feud to resume, so I simply left an illusion in front of him and calmly moved to his rear, before hitting him again with the Clouded Fang sheath.
"He 's calmed down!"
"More accurately he's been knocked out. It's okay, I'm not talking anymore."
Ignoring Shippo who is screaming from Kagome's arms and Miroku who seems to be sitting in a corner, as if grounded, I begin to look around. To say it was horrible would be an understatement, there is no structure that hasn't been hit, there are pieces of the lizard demon lying all over the place and everything seems to be on fire... Even if it isn't.
"Demon killed, Inuyasha secured and village saved. Well, it's time to go."
"St. Yeah, we'd better get going."
Stop, because all of a sudden you two are so in agreement... You're right."
Oh, I thought he was going to criticize both Miroku and I for wanting to run away from this disaster. wait! They had a good amount of shards, how many of these disasters must have happened and how many they must have run away from to avoid paying for the damage.
While considering totally stupid things, Kagome approaches Inuyasha's unconscious body with the Steel Fang scabbard and places it next to him along with the remains of the sword. Finished with that action, Kagome calls Miroku who seems uninterested in touching a half naked man and between the two of them they hoist him onto Kirara's back.
"All set, let's go."
Some time later…
With the reduction and extinguishing of Asahiko's residual flames, darkness takes full control of the once vibrant village. The buildings are largely destroyed, long scars can be seen scarred into the earth and over the whole place seems to weigh a baleful aura.
*Tap* *Tap* *Tap* *Tap*
Running through the wreckage of the village, two very different beings are found. The first is an imp of green color, wearing dark colored clothes, carrying a strange two-headed staff and seems to be extremely tired from running.
The second is a small human girl with fair skin, bright brown eyes and long black hair with short bangs, who seems to be having fun while running. She wears a yellow and orange plaid kosode that stretches down to her ankles, plus a green obi sash that is tied behind her back, thus keeping the costume tight.
"I won, lord Jaken!"
"It wasn't a race silly girl, anyone can see that."
"Ehhh! But you said it was!"
"Don't put words in my mouth, ahem, ahem. look at that."
Perhaps feeling embarrassed by the girl's words, Jaken quickly has her shift her attention from him to a huge violet head sporting a pair of horns. The girl's eyes seemed to glow for a few moments, a strange thing, as seeing a demon translates to immediate death and all humans of this age know that.
"Lord Sesshōmaru was right! Look, look, it's a dead demon!"
"Um, um, you shouldn't distrust Lord Sesshōmaru, silly girl. But who would have killed such a demon?"
"It was Inuyasha."
As the girl ran around the severed head, Jaken takes advantage of her words to take revenge on her, even though she was just a child. He then runs around the head as well, before throwing a question into the air and the one who answers him is the newly arrived Sesshōmaru.
"Master Sesshōmaru!"
"Though I can also assure that he came out of this traumatizing experience hurt."
Giving no importance to Jaken's words, Sesshōmaru walks in slow steps to the demon's head and upon reaching it lifts it easily from a horn.
"¡Haaaaaa!"
Taking a closer look at the head and ignoring the girl, who seems to be screaming for the sake of screaming, Sesshōmaru seems to fall into some deep thoughts, though his gaze seems to fixate on the teeth of that head.
"Let 's go."
"Do you intend to take that big head with you?"
"¡Haaa!"
"Quiet Rin. Don't shout."
"¡Yes, sir!"
Moving further into the ruins of the village, Sesshōmaru shushes the girl now known as Rin with only a few words and continues to move forward as if something has caught his attention. On the other side of Sesshōmaru's back, Rin stops standing firm as a soldier and starts running after him, while Jaken does the same.
After a few minutes of walking through the town at a slow pace, they end up arriving at a place even more terribly damaged than the previous one. Everything about 150 to 200 meters in front of them seems to have disappeared, be it trees, rocks, dirt, everything you would expect to see in a forest has been completely obliterated.
"M, m, pretty master, did Inuyasha do this too?"
"No, this power... only."
For every word Sesshōmaru blurts out, he seems to fall even deeper into his memories, almost as if searching for something that happened a long time ago. Stopping his thoughts, Sesshōmaru begins to walk along the trail of destruction, analyzing the land and even circulating his energy around the surroundings.
"There's no doubt... it's the power of Clouded Fang."
