Chapter 4 - Chapter 4:Unknown place

...Christopher pov...

The first thing I felt when I tried to open my eyes was liberation, it was as if I had carried a fully equipped mountaineering backpack and now there is nothing.

All the muscles that once screamed in agony, like the early days of fencing practice, are now relaxed. On the other hand, I have a deep blue sky above me, although it is half-hidden by broad treetops.

"Aghh. There's someone there!"

Despite the feeling of release, my body was extremely sluggish, almost as if from so much relaxation they had turned to soft jelly.

This made moving a monumental task, at least until I could get used to the feeling.

*Cri* *Cri* *Cri*

"Richard! Higurashi! There 's someone!"

*wind blowing*

I wanted to panic, but that would be the most useless thing to do and what you should never do in this kind of situation. My logical mind tells me to look for clues, connections to something past and I brought it down to earth.

"Hallucinogenic gasses, maybe the sword had some kind of poison in it, I'm dreaming... Hahaha each one is more illogical than the last."

This considering and analyzing the situation was going from bad to worse, it was time to sedate the mind and what better than to explore where I am. After finishing that line of thought, I get up from the ground and start looking around to get an idea about my current situation.

I find myself in a fairly deep forest or so it seems due to the large trees around me, these need at least 2 people together to hug them, with a height of about 15 meters, making them quite imposing to the human eye.

The grass is a beautiful natural green color, it is ankle high to me and a river can be heard nearby.

"The first thing would be to go towards the river. Every human structure is created in the vicinity of bodies of water, I can also see my state right there."

Preparing to leave, I notice the glint of sunlight against a reflective metal and what else could it be but the sword. The surprising thing is that I can't make out the well anywhere, but maybe it's all a dream... Better leave that line of thought.

Approaching the sword, I grabbed it with one hand and lifted it in the air letting the sun shine on it. I must say, it's beautiful... Though to its sheath it goes.

"Now, yes, it is time to go. From the height of the sun and its brightness it must be noon. Then I have a couple of hours at worst."

Walking for a few minutes towards one of the directions, since it's not like I can do much, due to the sun being blocked by the trees momentarily.

Thanks to that inconvenience, which makes it impossible for me to know where I'm going, he arrived at the river he had been listening to for some time. Of course I also notice that it is strange to hear it at such a distance, but let's not talk about that now.

"I just had to go in a teacher's outfit, well it was a simple job. do I look more handsome though, or is it just my imagination?"

The river was beautiful, not at all like the rivers you normally see. Its surface was smooth due to the continuous flow of water, it was so transparent that you could see the reflection of yourself or the fish and rocks under there.

Stopping to admire the flawless appearance of the river, the first thing I do is to look at my reflection to notice if I have any wounds, which I didn't and even my clothes were in perfect condition.

Why did I complain out loud? Well, just that day I decided to go with the classic teacher outfit, ie. A white colored shirt for the inside, over that a dark brown long coat that even has leather elbow patches, brown dress pants and some black shoes.

"My hair has gotten blonder or is it just my imagination. No, that's also happening with my eyes that went from light blue to blue. Yeah, I better drink some water and stop beating around the bush."

Deepening with my hands in the river, he grabbed a small amount of water, before drinking it as if my life depended on it. I also washed my face, so as to get out the little sluggishness still left in my body and with everything done, I started walking along the river's edge.
