Thaurex entered a bar filled with neon blue light with a touch of Midnight purple. Thaurex sat on the barstool. A green Gooey alien served Thaurex a large cup of beer.
The door of the bar busted open. Everyone turned they're eyes on the origin of the noise except Thaurex.
A wiff of a nostalgic smell knocked him out, sending him to a place he once lived.
His daughter, Falethier were on a garden filled with various plants and flowers. "Come on Daddy." Falethier said as she started to sprint toward the garden. Falethier crouched next to a small sunflower that was soon to sprout. "Is this your favorite?" Asked Thaurex. Falethier nodded and dragged her flask out. She poured water on it. "Why is it your favorite flower?" Asked Thaurex. "Mama." Responded Falethier.
"What's your favorite flower daddy?" Thaurex stood up straight and stroked his beard while he looked around the massive garden. "I don't know yet. How about you help me find one?" Falethier's face lit up like a Christmas tree as she jumped up. She dragged her father's hand pulling it to view roses. "Let's start with roses then." Said Falethier.
A tap of his shoulder dragged him back to reality. It was the General.
General, sat next to Thaurex. "Hit me again gobbollo" Said Thaurex, "make it two" the General added. Gobbollo groaned and left. The General put his hat down on the table.
"We found Avitraux." Said the General.
"Good for you guys I guess." Responded Thaurex. The general sighed heavily as Gobbollo entered with their orders.
"Are you still mourning Falethier?" Asked the General. "You can't mourn for someone that's alive." Responded Thaurex.
Thaurex took a sip from his drink.
"How about this.... I'll open a case for your missing daughter after you do this one mission." Said The General . Thaurex slowly turned to The General. "Me and my squad will have full control of that mission. " Said Thaurex. "Done." Said The General as he raised his cup of beer. Thaurex clinked his drink against the general's, sealing their pact.
