With a nod, Yves extended his hands, palms up, as instructed by the blacksmith. The man carefully examined his hands, inspecting each detail, as if searching for a hidden treasure
After a moment, the man gave a command again. "Close your grip, as if you're holding a dagger." Yves complied without hesitation, mimicking the action of holding a weapon.
"Good." the man commented.
"Now, throw a punch into the air." Yves, trusting the expertise of the man, followed the instructions without questioning.
As Yves performed the action, the blacksmith observed closely, analyzing how Yves' hands moved and the coordination of his gestures.
"Your movements are promising. With the right pair of daggers, you won't be half bad."
Yves nodded, feeling a surge of confidence at the words. However, his excitement was soon tempered when the blacksmith suggested waiting a minute while he selected daggers for Yves to test out.
