They stood in front of a red gate, its sturdy body separating the visitors from the queen, two bodies lay face-down in front of the handle, trails of blood flowed behind the door. Zenyph took a step forward and pushed it open.
"It's empty." he said.
"This is the only place we haven't checked." Norena said.
"Still the blood trail ends here." he pointed towards the blood puddle in the middle of the room.
Saphirella walked passed them, heading towards the throne made of red ice, she stopped right in front of it. Her body turned into water. She fell.
"What?" Zenyph questioned.
"Roselle used to love playing hide and seek." Pyrena said with a distant stare,"There should be an entire area underneath the castle."
Soon after the floor crumbled, leaving dust clouds, as Saphirella reappeared in the hole.
"Come on." she said.
