They stayed in Wakanda for another three days, though T'Challa was just a prince, he had various responsibilities to handle. He needed to manage some work handovers before leaving Wakanda.
After three days, Daisy, Storm, T'Challa, Bartok, and the still-unconscious Juggernaut, left Wakanda through a small path.
Daisy rode a rhinoceros in the front, the panther transformed into the size of a house cat, lying on her shoulder. Juggernaut and Bartok, like dead dogs, were dragged behind the rhinoceros.
T'Challa and Storm, a couple, whispered to each other not far away. Before leaving, the queen scolded them again, and although Storm resisted the urge to retaliate, she remained sulky along the journey.
With the rhinoceros present, ordinary means of transportation were impractical. Anyway, they all had time to spare, so the group decided to leisurely walk out.
Daisy examined the cloak on the way. The cloak, in terms of color, style, design, and size, did not meet her preferences. It was originally just a gift, and the old king probably didn't think much of it, directly taking a cloak from the border tribe's warehouse and sending it to her in a package.
The cloak was both large and loose, making her look like a beggar when she wrapped it around herself.
Its unattractive appearance required her to modify it herself, but unfortunately, she lacked that skill. In this aspect, she is inferior compared to Marvel's heroes, as most of them have practical life skills.
Tony Stark, rumored to have held a welding gun since birth, had a mastery of mechanical engineering.
Wolverine whom Daisy had met was a master in various life skills and excelled in tasks like building, road paving, and tree cutting.
Even Deadpool knew how to use a sewing machine.
Daisy couldn't do any of that, and the cloak was a piece of equipment used by border tribe soldiers, and she didn't lack this kind of defensive power.
After some contemplation, she decided to give the cloak to her maid. Japanese women were usually skilled in sewing and mending, and as an ordinary person, she needed some protective gear.
The farther they got from Wakanda, the more affectionate T'Challa and Storm became.
Once they crossed the Wakanda border, the two of them were even more overjoyed.
Daisy didn't plan to leave the Kenyan savannah. She patted the rhinoceros's head; her mediocre telepathic skills still needed improvement against humans, but they worked well with animals.
In just three days of contact, she had become familiar with the rhinoceros. A simple gesture made it stop.
The two behind, spreading dog food, found her actions strange, wondering why she stopped.
"Are we walking all the way to Kenya?" Daisy couldn't understand. Wasn't this tiring for them? Even sitting on the rhinoceros was tiring for her.
T'Challa traversed mountains and crossed valleys as if walking on flat ground. He didn't see any issue. Storm understood what Daisy meant, "How about I contact Professor and have him send a plane to pick us up?"
Daisy was curious about the X-Men's Blackbird jet, but it was just out of curiosity.
She estimated it to be on par with Quinjet, and decided to call her own support instead.
Being a Level 7 agent, mobilizing a jet was a breeze.
While waiting for the plane, she planned to abduct the little lion.
The Panther Goddess, upon learning her intentions, decided to accompany her.
Daisy teleported twice, returning to the place where she first encountered the lion. After flying around the area for two rounds, she found a family of three.
Which was not a family of three at all! The male lion had three wives and eight cubs, a proper big family.
Since there are so many lion cubs, you won't mind if I take one, right? Daisy tried to communicate with the male lion.
Originally, the male lion, who was about to roar at her, instantly fell silent upon seeing the Panther Goddess. The remaining lionesses and cubs were even more distressed, cowering on the ground.
"They seem really afraid of you..." Daisy asked the Panther Goddess.
The Panther Goddess nodded arrogantly, indicating it was alright not to treat the lions as snacks.
With the intimidation of the goddess, the male lion couldn't refuse Daisy's "suggestion" to adopt a cub.
"When I have a big house, I'll bring you all over for a good life!" She picked up the lion cub she had seen that day, leaving a promise before teleporting away.
T'Challa and Storm had no objections to her bringing back a lion cub. As for city's permissions to raise wild animals, they didn't care.
The lion cub, separated from its parents, was a bit scared, looking left and right, she couldn't see the environment she was familiar with, not knowing where to go if she wanted to run.
T'Challa and Storm, appeared harmless as they didn't have the scent of those hunters. Of course, Daisy seemed the friendliest, so the little lion pitifully lay down by her feet.
The lion cub was a little over a year old, and was a lioness. She was almost as tall as Daisy when standing on its hind legs. Currently, she lay by Daisy's feet, while she petted its fur, waiting for the S.H.I.E.L.D. plane.
The plane took off from Egypt and arrived quickly. The agents were of good quality, although finding the rhinoceros and Juggernaut a bit too large, they didn't question anything. They struggled a bit to fit the rhinoceros into the plane and then flew directly to New York.
During the journey, Daisy contacted Old Pym to discuss T'Challa's enrollment at Oxford.
This wasn't a simple matter; even with Pym's influence, it can't be solved with a phone call, more work needed to be done. Oxford would assess T'Challa's qualifications, getting someone who was a fool into the university was mentally retarded. Moreover, there would be financial compensation involved, considering T'Challa was a transfer student.
Wakanda is rich. This is actually not true. Their wealth was mostly in Vibranium, but this Vibranium isn't helping them with any money.
Trying to sell the metal openly at this stage was unrealistic.
The wealth they had was more virtual than the stock market. In Daisy's memory, the future Vibranium was priced at an astronomical value per gram, making the Black Panther royal family seem richer than Iron Man. These claims are all false; scarcity is the most expensive, and there is no Vibranium on the market, so the sky-high price was quoted. In reality? Vibranium is being mined for thousands of years.
The rare characteristic of Vibranium, coupled with Wakanda's unwillingness to sell, created a picture of Vibranium "out of stock" on the market.
Daisy strongly suspected that the idea of the Black Panther royal family being wealthier than Iron Man was spread by Tony Stark himself as a way of deflecting class resentment in the future!
The only commendable thing about Wakanda was its technology, but technology was the foundation of a nation and would not be sold.
So, Mr. T'Challa really didn't have much money, at least not in dollars.
Fortunately, Storm was wealthy. Daisy said she is a helpless little agent, and Storm handed her a bank card with five million. Besides the Oxford matter, Storm also asked for help in finding an apartment in the UK.
During a brief discussion on the plane, T'Challa planned to settle in New York first. While Daisy handled T'Challa's Oxford affairs, he would investigate the leakage of Wakanda's entrance, by the way, spend some private time with Storm in the outside world.
Bartok was to be taken away since he was the only one who knew about the situation.
However, Juggernaut wasn't accepted. Storm refused to take along this big guy, stating that Professor Charles's place was a school, not a prison. Such an evil guy should be left for S.H.I.E.L.D. to detain in a place far away from civilization.
