Snowflakes started falling, fierce winds were raging and T'Challa's face darkened. Do all these supernatural people always have to create some celestial phenomena after being strengthened? Is having superpowers that impressive! Looking down on us ordinary people!
You should remember that their royal family, after enhancement, just sat up without any unusual celestial phenomena as a background effect.
With a loud whoosh, a whirlwind erupted from Storm, blowing away the sand. T'Challa, being close, got a face full of sand. Daisy moved quickly, and directly took cover behind a stone pillar.
When she came out, she found Storm was floating mid-air and had still not woken up.
Different from her sports bra and boxers, Ororo wore very exciting underwear, a transparent shoulder strap bra and a thong, that didn't cover anything. Looks like this black woman was not only adventurous on the outside...
But she just glanced at it curiously. Glass cannon mutants can wear this thing. This is not good for melee agents. It has nothing to do with preference, just inappropriate. Of course, when you are not on duty anything can be worn in the bedroom...
While she was studying other's underwear curiously, hurricanes began to form outside the mountain, seemingly trying to come closer to Storm. Several hurricanes converged and surged toward the sacred mountain of Wakanda.
"Stop the hurricanes quickly!" T'Challa ordered urgently, but their weapons were useless against the hurricanes. Vibranium might be strong, but it had no effect on intangible hurricanes.
"Ororo, wake up!" He could only keep calling his lover continuously.
Daisy calculated the speed of the hurricanes; she estimated she could handle it.
Stepping out confidently, she shouted, "Go away!" She clenched her right fist and punched towards the approaching hurricane.
Tons of force were released in one breath, following the laws of string vibration, transmitting along a specific route to the front of the hurricane, and then erupted violently.
Transparent energy smashed into the air, the powerful force shattering the entire area like glass.
Although there was no sound, those witnessing the scene felt as if they heard a cracking sound.
Without air as a medium, the hurricane, despite its speed, could do nothing. The seemingly unstoppable violent force was stopped even more violently.
"Keep calling her," Daisy instructed urgently. She didn't have time to pay attention to the common people bowing to her below. She told T'Challa quickly, because another hurricane was gradually forming.
Daisy moved around the sacred mountain, continuously shattering three hurricanes and breaking a lightning strike. Using abilities so violently and frequently, her arms felt slightly numb, but the piercing pain she used to experience was gone. She was excited; although the genetic defects could not be avoided, the way to enhance herself seemed like the right path.
After shattering another lightning strike, the dark clouds finally dispersed, and Storm woke up.
When she returned to the sacred mountain, she found T'Challa's mother, the Queen, with her chef's hat, on the scene. The old woman had now completely disregarded her queenly demeanor and became a stereotypical mother-in-law while pointing and scolding Storm.
Daisy's proficiency in the Wakandan language was barely passable. She didn't understand many of the Queen's common words, but judging by the expressions, it must be the same rhetoric of her being a vixen, which harmed the country and the people(Tamamo-no-Mae reference).
Beside the Queen with the chef's hat, stood a dark-skinned girl who seemed to be T'Challa's girlfriend from the original movie, but Daisy wasn't entirely sure.
The Queen was born in the River Tribe, who wielded two energy rings as her weapons in battle.
The current leader of the River Tribe is the Queen's brother, the strange guy who balanced a plate on his lower lip in the movie. As a member of the "royal family", she wanted to unite her son and niece to maintain the Wakandan royal bloodline.
However, this idealistic plan was disrupted by that fox spirit Ororo! Seeing the chaos she caused to the sacred mountain, the Queen immediately rushed out to question her.
Daisy had no intention of getting involved in their family dispute. She adjusted her frequency again, trying to be inconspicuous.
It's a pity that her white skin color stood out among the group of black people who had natural stealth talents. The Chef Queen automatically noticed her and immediately redirected her tirade to include Daisy in the discussion.
She ranted for a few moments. Daisy raised her eyebrows; this woman was simply a shrew, cursing Storm for three sentences and slipping in a comment about Daisy. The general meaning was that outsiders were all troublemakers!
T'Challa hurriedly pulled the old lady away. Daisy was a special agent after all, and had good patience as per her professional requirements. However, Storm, as a saint from the Kenyan tribe, a millennium-old heiress, and the deputy leader of the X-Men, was not known for her mild temperament. Now being berated, her face was icy, and the clouds outside the sacred mountain seemed to be regathering.
T'Challa felt that Daisy and Ororo were like two humanoid nuclear bombs. Just by looking at their abilities, you could tell they were not easygoing people. Once they got agitated, one could cause earthquakes and the other unleashed storms, they could bring Wakanda to the level of other African countries!
Almost forcibly, T'Challa dragged his stepmother away. His black stepsister seemed hesitant, wanting to explain things to Storm, but seeing her cold expression, she also retreated directly.
Storm wasn't as conservative as Daisy, but with only a few pieces of fabric hanging on her body, she felt a bit chilly and quickly put on her clothes again.
Compared to Daisy, Storm's enhancement process had been more complicated, but the results were satisfactory. Her originally fragile physical attributes had been enhanced, and her control abilities greatly improved. A gentle breeze blew, and with an elegant posture, she floated over to Daisy.
"Thank you for risking your life to save me," she expressed her gratitude sincerely.
"You're welcome."
Daisy accepted the thanks. Regardless of her motives, the fact remained that she had saved Storm from the Juggernaught, and their relationship had shifted from acquaintances to friends.
The priests were busy cleaning up the scene, clearing away the sand that had been shaken and blown around. The once sacred place now looked like it had been raided by robbers.
The ground could be cleaned, and items could be rearranged, but the cracks on the mountainside couldn't be eliminated. Several people looked at Daisy with weird eyes.
"This shouldn't be my doing, right?" Storm stared blankly at the cracks on the mountainside, wondering if it was caused by a lightning strike?
Daisy wanted to shift thepot like Hiruzen blaming Danzo, but unfortunately, there were too many witnesses, she could only admit it was her own fault.
"Oh? I was surprised when you caught my lightning earlier. What type of ability do you have?" In fact, Storm had been curious before but at that time they didn't know each other well, and it felt a bit taboo to ask. Now that they had a certain camaraderie, the topic was open for discussion.
"Vibration, all kinds of vibrations are my abilities."
Storm urged her to demonstrate.
Daisy raised a hand, and suddenly realized that her ability wasn't easy to showcase. Shake the ground a bit? The priests in front of her would probably start cursing her! Punching the sky couldn't reveal anything. Performing an Oriental massage technique would be inappropriate... She found it a bit challenging to explain.
