Chapter 79 - Death of Silver Samurai

===================

The ring can normally accumulate energy, and its frequency can be used as a form of energy storage. As long as there is enough energy, creating a powerful mental shield is not difficult.

"Good stuff! It's really nice!" Daisy was extremely satisfied. The ring belonged to another dimension, so it wouldn't be visible to ordinary people, which also aligned with her principles of having trump cards.

She picked up Viper's dagger, suppressed her disgust, chopped off the old lady's head, and then randomly opened a portal to toss it in.

The Hand has a habit of resurrecting the dead. With the body and head separated, can they still be resurrected? As for cloning, that is impossible to guard against.

Daisy checked the old lady's body, stabbed it twice with Viper's dagger at the heart, and made a few cuts in both directions, leaving traces of the unique weapon, proving that the person was killed by Viper.

Whether the Hand believes it or not is not important. Seeing no omissions, she ran back.

Back in the castle, the battle had reached its conclusion. The mercenaries under Madame Viper and Madame Gao had retreated, and the two groups of ninjas stopped fighting as they saw their masters were either unconscious or fleeing.

Only Wolverine was still fighting Silver Samurai.

Silver Samurai's moves were rigid, repeatedly slashing and chopping, but his long sword emitted a dazzling light, as if the blade was enhanced by some energy, cutting through everything effortlessly.

Wherever the blade passed, various indoor furnishings shattered like paper. Wolverine had to dodge from time to time to avoid being cut in half.

In dealing with Silver Samurai, Wolverine's attacks were inferior. His claws could only leave three shallow marks on the armor; the armor was just too thick.

Unable to retaliate, the situation became somewhat passive.

Yashida Shingen's swordsmanship against someone covered in adamantium alloy armor was quite powerless; now he could only watch.

Daisy rushed in for a couple of strikes, but the opponent's martial skills were a world apart from Madame Gao's. Still, she had to retreat; all attacks were nullified by the armor, and there was no way to make a move.

However, she could provide some external support, calculating the position and creating a minor earthquake on the ground where the Silver Samurai was about to step on.

The opponent's movements were sluggish. Stepping into thin air, the massive body stumbled. Wolverine, who had been looking for an opportunity, inserted his claw through the gap in the helmet, then used both hands to forcefully pull the entire helmet off.

Behind the helmet was a pale old face, with age spots contrasting sharply with an abnormal red color on the face.

"You're still alive!" Wolverine was somewhat surprised. Yashida Shingen's face turned dark, and Mariko was left in shock.

It was Daisy's first time seeing the older Yashida. This guy was too old; his lifespan had long reached its limit. In the vibration frequencies, he seemed like a dead person. Now he relied on some poisonous substance and the life-support device inside the Silver Samurai armor to prolong his life.

But Madame Gao's poison was obviously not as potent as Madame Viper's. The poison made the old man completely lose his mind, with a crazed look, muttering to himself like a fool.

The battle ended quickly. The life-support device of the old man was destroyed, and within thirty seconds, he succumbed to the poison. The Silver Samurai armor, costing billions of dollars, became a lifeless heap.

"Wake up, it's dawn... here's your dagger back." Daisy patted the smooth back of Viper. This guy might have been injured initially, but she has been playing dead ever since.

Madame Viper was quite calm, without a trace of embarrassment. She took the dagger, sat up slowly, and asked in a soft voice, "Are they all dead?"

Daisy knew what she meant. "They're all dead. Their territory and money are now up for grabs; it depends on how much you can take."

"Dealing with men, I have my ways. I'll leave first and contact you later." After saying this, Viper accelerated and ran, disappearing into the night.

Yashida Shingen also took his leave, heading back to Tokyo to take over the family business. This ambitious middle-aged man seemed to have found a second spring.

He instructed Mariko to return to Tokyo on her own, and then contacted the local police in Kochi Prefecture. Unaware that he was just in charge in name only, faced with the request from the head of the Yashida family, they promptly dispatched a helicopter to take him overnight.

Mariko was very busy. In the family dungeon, she rescued her companion, Yukio, a mutant who had grown up with her and had some precognitive abilities. Yukio, now wearing a dumbfounded expression, couldn't figure out why her precognition had such a big deviation.

"Logan... Grandfather?" Mariko walked up to Silver Samurai and looked at the elderly face inside the armor, which seemed vaguely familiar. She didn't know what to say.

Wolverine also felt uneasy. Despite the old man's greed and betrayal, he stabbed someone else's grandfather to death after doing things that shouldn't have been done. It wasn't something to be proud of.

Yukio looked at the two of them with a wry expression, her goldfish-like eyes shifting between her friend and Wolverine.

Daisy ignored their awkward situation and accessed the internal network of the Yashida family, searching for information on genetic research.

The old Yashida had been conducting research for fifty years, and there was a wealth of experimental data, with a focus on mutants, especially Wolverine and Sebastian Shaw.

The old man had extensively studied and conducted numerous experiments on the genes of these two people.

Wolverine's blood was easy to collect, as he fought recklessly without caring about defense. They had gathered a considerable amount of blood with little effort.

Daisy hadn't expected the old man to have collected a large amount of Sebastian Shaw's blood as well. Undoubtedly, the old Yashida had made many deals with the upper echelons of the United States.

The blood of mutants was very different from that of ordinary humans for old Yashida who hadn't injected himself for decades, and even more so for Daisy with her unique heritage, she dared not inject it casually. However, this didn't stop her from conducting her own research.

Without any hesitation, she sent the experimental data to her server, packaged all the blood, transmitted it to a residence she had rented near Kochi Prefecture in advance, and then called Miss Maid to pick it up and transport it back to New York.

Afterward, she carefully searched through a few files described by Madame Viper and did find information about Nazis.

Encrypting the files twice and creating an illusion that she had cracked them by herself, she carefully reviewed the content and found no flaws. Only then did she send an urgent encrypted message to Nick Fury.

The Director arrived quickly. Daisy suspected he had been in Japan all along, just hiding and not showing himself.

Braised Egg got off the helicopter, and Daisy met him halfway.

Nick Fury's expression was solemn. "What specific intelligence is so important that you had to make an emergency call?"

Daisy let him review the information on the spot. "Earlier, Shingen Yashida mentioned that the Yashida Corporation had a large sum of money for purchasing goods. Afterward, their whereabouts were unknown. I just decrypted their encrypted files and found this."

Nick Fury reviewed the files from beginning to end, and Daisy opened a few reports separately. These files all revealed a message between the lines. There is a secret Nazi base in Antarctica!
