Looking at the stand of games and sort scattered about the streets, their moods were immediately lifted. The whole place looked like the amusement park from the former years was brought to life again on the streets of this town.
"Are you sure you're aren't going to work?" Myra asked in a stressed voice. The sounds of laughter, music and other activities were so loud that one would have to speak at the top of their throats to be heard by whosoever they were speaking to.
Raaya shook her head. "There's no need to" she replied nonchalantly. She made up her mind not to go to the brothel today.
"what if they come looking for you?"
"Then I'll be waiting" she smiled.
No doubt they would come looking for her but that was exactly what she wanted. It would be best if they cause a grand scene in front of the people. The grander it was, the easiest it would be for them to explain to everybody the reason behind the battle that was to unfold.
