Emory's mind raced as he tried to find a solution to their problem, but the image of a naked Carrie did well to distract him, as that was all that kept popping up in his head at the moment.
"Ahh" Emory grunted in frustration
"I-I'm sorry, I think I was sure I set the time correctly but when I came back, it changed. Maybe I set the wrong time by mistake" Carrie said, her tone carrying a hint of remorse
Emory's brow furrowed as a frown appeared on his face, "Don't apologize, you probably did set the correct time," He said, realization setting in as his head became clearer
"Huh? I did?"
"Yes, it's the ghosts, they are the ones messing with us" He concluded
"But why? Ghosts don't attack humans unprovoked, so wh—" Realization hit Carrie as she spoke, "The bathroom incident…." She added
"Exactly, and not only that, but we also broke their front door and crashed into their house….we're uninvited guests," He said
