Notice: Lucifer's name has been changed from Lucifer to Heilel. I would make the changes on the previous chapters too. Thank you
The bell atop the bookstore's door jingled as Emory walked in, for a change Gabriel wasn't lazying away at the counter instead Michael stood at the counter. His focus was occupied by the unhealthy amount of book sprawled out in front of him.
"Welcome Carson. Shall we resume our training?" Michael said as he looked up at Emory.
"I literally just got in geez, you would think an angel would be more patient" Emory said as he hung up his bag on the coat hanger.
"There's no time to waste, and you know why" Michael said flatly as he left the counter and walked over to Emory
"Well, can't I take a break seeing as I finally communed with the record?" Emory said, his nose in the air as a smirk appeared on his face
"You did?" Michael said incredulously. Emory nodded his head in affirmation towards Michael's question "How? Nevermind that, were you able to gain knowledge on the whereabouts of the creator?" Michael asked in impatiently
"About that…." Emory explained to Michael about why he could not gain access to any information about the Creator's location.
"I see, so your consciousness' are in the process of merging and until you're fully merged you can't gain access to some information, especially information as complex and large as that" Michael said
"That's basically it" Emory affirmed
"That makes sense, a little disappointing but still progress nonetheless. So do you feel any different?" Michael asked
"Honestly, not in the slightest" Emory said
"Hmm. Perhaps the further your consciousness merge, the more the effects show" Michael said
"Where's Gabriel? He would be so excited to find out about this" Emory inquired as he turned his head from left to right, scanning the store for signs of Gabriel
"He's on clean up duty. He asked for it strangely, he is usually reluctant to partake in clean up duties or anything apart from reading his magazines and eating" Michael said
"I'll just wait for him to get back then" Emory said
"Now shall we begin training" Michael said as he raised his hand
"Before that, what's all these?" Emory said pointing to the various books laod out on the counter.
"Oh those. I was merely making my research on the power of the throne pieces, not every angel has seen the throne let alone get a hold of a throne piece, only those who stood beside the Creator have been chanced to see the throne." Michael said as he dropped his hand
"But if no one currently around has seen the throne, then what material are you using for your research?" Emory asked confusedly
"Good question. Works of prophets and those who have claimed to see the Creator are my material, though not entirely credible they are my best shot as I am short on options. Amongst thousands of lies, there is bound to be some truth in disguise."
"I see, it's understandable" Emory said
"Yes"
"By the way, what exactly is the throne? It's seems like a key factor in all this, shouldn't I know what it is or at least have an idea?" Emory asked
"You're right" Michael said as he walked over to the counter and leaned on it before continuing "The throne, is the place the Creator dwells, the centre of all creation, the Creator has never once left his throne for any reason. It is a complex and intricate structure that comprises of twelve ever-rotating rings that encircles the Creator.
Each ring is an aspect of reality given form, that's why the traitors call themselves Gods as so far they possess a throne piece, they wield power beyond comprehension. The Elemental rings are Fire, Earth, Water, Darkness, Light and Air which Zalos currently possesses, the other six rings have power over the non-physical aspects, conceptual aspects of reality and as to what concepts they control, that I do not know. Together these twelve pieces spin forth existence into reality." Michael explained
"Wow…and we would be going after Gods who wield such powers?" Emory asked as he stared at the floor nervously
"Do not be afraid Emory, that's why we need to prepare for when we face them" Michael said as he waved his hand and the scenery changed into the familiar confines of the training room. Emory steeled himself, pushing his earlier nervousness away.

At the snowy peak of the tallest mountain in the world; Everest, a group of mountain climbers, clad in mountain climbing attire stood, cheering and and celebrating their newfound achievement of climbing the tallest mountain in the world.
"Let's take a group photo to commemorate this day!" a middle-aged man said, beckoning on the others to huddle up for the photograph
Everyone in the group of five which consisted of three young women, one young man and the middle-aged man had taken their spot and assumed a pose for the photo. The middle-aged man set up the camera on a tripod and unknowingly hit the record button instead of the photo button, he ran back to take his spot in the group and then he suddenly stopped halfway.
"Hurry up or the timer would go off and you won't be in the photo or worse you would photo bomb us" a young woman said, she was tall, beautiful and her thick and luscious black hair still stood out in the the coat of white that covered everything.
The middle-aged man began slowly approaching the group, as he walked step by step his aura grew more intimidating, and in contrast to his earlier demeanor he now had a sinister vibe to him, this caused the group to shift back instinctively. Even in the intense cold, they felt a chill creeping up their spine, tugging on their throat as they struggled to even speak.
"Dad? W-what are you doing?" The beautiful young woman managed to say.
The middle-aged man finally got close enough the group "This view is nice isn't it, but I can show you a better view Miranda, my dear daughter" he said smiling, as placed his hand on the sides of her face and with a swift and effortless motion, he pulled her head off her body and watched as her body lifelessly dropped to the ground with a smile on his face. He threw her head off the mountain and said "The view is better going down"
The remainder of the group stood frozen, silent, still processing and trying to wrap their head around what just happened. Their silence was broken by the piercing scream of another young woman and the others followed suit and began to panic and run.
"Carlos..what the fuck did you do to Miranda?!" The young man said
"Are you stupid? I just pulled her head off and you're asking me what I did to her? You're so stupid it's annoying" Carlos said frankly in annoyance as he moved so quickly he looked like he disappeared and appeared in directly in front the young man, catching him off guard. He digged his hand into his mouth, breaking a few teeth in the process and ripped out his tongue before slapping the young man's head off his body.
"Say some stupid shit now" Carlos said, his voice soothing yet venomous
"You! Y-you aren't Carlos, w-who are you?" One of the young women said as she began wetting herself
"That's right, I'm not Carlos. I'm the Devil" He said as his face contorted into an unsettling smile "You're Filthy, I don't want to stain my hands killing you. Well technically they're not my hands but Carlos', but who gives a shit about Carlos right" Heilel said, as he laughed "Now jump" he said with a stern unsmiling expression
"Jump? Jump where?" The young woman said
"Where else? Jump, who knows you may survive if you're lucky. It's just a 29,000 feet drop" Heilel said sarcastically as he burst into laughter.
"But we can't, we will die" the other woman said
"Whether you jump or not, you will die. Now jump before I think of a creative way to kill you both" Heilel said
The two women looked at the headless corpses that lay just behind Heilel and looked at each other, as if coming to a silent agreement they both looked at Heilel and said "We won't give you the pleasure of killing us" as they jumped of an edge of the mountain.
Heilel burst into a maniacal laughter, he laughed for few seconds.
"They really jumped, killed themselves. See you in Hell fools" Heilel said while grinning
"I should do this more often, I forgot how foolish humans could be and how satisfying it was to watch them die. Now for the main reason why I'm here" he said as he walked over to a rock and waved his hand, a gigantic statue appeared in turn.
"There you are. Time to wake up…Zalos"
