Seth didn't know if night had fallen or not. In the vast cavern, he had no way of telling, but the fatigue of the day quickly caught up to him.
Assigned to his quarters, he found a wooden house embedded into the rocky wall. Its architecture, both elegant and functional, exuded an honesty that matched his tastes perfectly.
His eyes were drawn to an opening leading to a balcony. Intrigued, he approached it and was surprised to find Lina already there. She perched by the railing, silently observing the activity below.
Not wanting to startle her, Seth softly cleared his throat as he moved closer, then murmured with little expectation:
"Did you enjoy today, miss?"
