Though Kyrian was more skilled in espionage, she also focused heavily on sword mastery, whereas Vaeric relied solely on his twin daggers. The two came to a halt, pressing their backs together in a defensive stance, ready to fend off attacks from any direction.
"Show yourselves, you filthy beasts!" Kyrian shouted, tightening her grip on her chokuto. "I know you're out there."
There was no response, but with her [Stealth Eye] skill and [Perception] ability, she could see them clearly. They were hiding, trying to blend into the dense underbrush, but Kyrian's gaze pierced through their cover. The demons, sensing her stare, abandoned their attempts at concealment.
