Atsuko gestured at Yuji to follow her.
Before following her, he looked at Tomoko, "Remember what I said."
Tomoko nodded and walked over to the blue team captain, asking if she could join.
The captain was surprised. He didn't understand why someone was willing to join his team instead of the team with the three players who were on the area leaderboard. He remembered that Yuji whispered in her ear.
'Did he tell her to join my team so I could build a team capable of fighting them?' He thought Yuji purposely told Tomoko to join him so people wouldn't decline his offer when he asked, but in reality, Yuji told her to join so the picking would speed up.
Players would look at Tomoko in hatred, "Are you stupid?! Why would you willingly join his team?! You're gonna get people killed with that decision of yours!" A player spoke his mind.
This created a chain reaction targeted towards Tomoko.
The old her would've reacted instantly in anger, but after that day with Yuji, she couldn't even find the will to fight back anymore.
Once Tomoko was now on the blue team, the captain began choosing players he thought would help during the event.
People ran away from him in hopes they wouldn't get picked.
On the other hand, Yuji was following Atsuko and Ichirou into the forest.
He knew what they were about to do, but he still played along.
Once they were very deep into the forest, Atsuko stopped and turned to face Yuji.
Atsuko laughed maniacally, "I can't believe you actually followed two players into a forest!"
"I wanted to punch your face in every since I saw you at the last event! You remind me of a pet of mine that I used to play with!" Ichirou chimed in with Atsuko.
Atsuko looked at Ichirou with killing intent, "As I told you before we joined hands, r100 is my prey!"
Ichirou began laughing, "I don't take orders from a little girl who only got third place!"
"Just because you killed a couple more goblins doesn't mean you're stronger; I can easily kill you if I wanted." Atsuko's words caused veins to bulge on Ichirou's forehead.
"Can you take responsibility for what you just said?" Ichirou said.
Atsuko shrugged, causing Ichirou to throw a punch towards her face.
She swiftly ducked under his punch and summoned a dagger into her hands.
With incredible speed, she purposely grazed multiple areas of his arms and legs.
"You bitch!" Ichirou shouted.
He attempted to attack her again but fell down face-first to the ground.
"I cut your Achilles tendons. You won't be able to walk. From now on, you're gonna be my slave, EgoKiller." She purposely emphasized his username to mock him.
Yuji stared at them blankly. They were supposed to fight with each other, not against. This would always happen, but he never stops it. Not because he couldn't deal with both of them, but because he liked seeing Ichirou get destroyed.
Atsuko was the second strongest in this area and one of the strongest in the world.
She didn't kill the monsters in the first event; all her kills were players. And outside the tower, she killed tons of players.
But compared to Yuji, she wasn't anywhere near as strong.
Atsuko looked at Yuji, "I'll spare you if you decide to become my slave. If not, I'll have to kill you; after all, you're a dangerous player."
Yuji laughed, "Defeating EgoKiller isn't much of an accomplishment."
His words triggered Ichirou, "Shut up, you bastard! I'll kill you!"
They both ignored him, "I never said it was, but defeating you will."
Yuji shook his head, "I'll give you two options: one, you bow down to me and become my slave. I'll even help you grow stronger. Two, I forcefully make you my slave, and you lose all the benefits of willingly becoming my slave."
Atsuko paused to think about Yuji's absurd requests. No matter what she chose, she was gonna end up a slave.
She felt uneasy hearing him propose his options with no fear and full of confidence in his power.
But even so, she believed her stats were higher because she didn't kill goblins, but players.
One player was equivalent to five goblins. Sometimes even more.
So there's no way Yuji was stronger unless he also killed players.
But if he didn't kill players, the only thing Yuji had over her was his fighting experience and knowledge of fighting.
She witnessed just how smart he fought those goblins and zombies.
While she was thinking, Yuji spoke, causing her to stop and look at him.
"I know you killed lots of humans to get stronger. You're likely a level three, which is very good. And your stats are around the fifty marks for both strength and agility. Although that's very good, it's nowhere near mine. The reason I'm telling you this is so you can make the right choice."
Atsuko's eyes widened in shock, 'How did he know?! Although it's a little off he basically got it right!'

She began smiling, her heart beating against her chest, 'What's this feeling?! It feels so good!'
Yuji saw her expression and face-palmed himself mentally.
He already knew she had a screw loose. She gets a thrill out of being in dangerous situations. She also enjoyed pain to a certain extent.
'She's a masochist, a crazy masochist. But she's useful.' Yuji thought to himself.
The main reason Yuji was willing to team up with someone this crazy was because he needed five capable teammates and although she's crazy, she is one of the strongest currently. He usually would kill her in his regressions, but her potential is better than most.
Noticing her getting into a fighting stance, Yuji slowly walked to her.
She vanished in the blink of an eye, reappearing with swift and elusive grace behind Yuji.
Attempting a lightning-quick kick, she found herself deceived by his afterimage as he seamlessly materialized behind her.
In a dazzling display of skill, he seized the back of her head, orchestrating a forceful descent that sent shockwaves through the ground, causing it to shatter upon impact.
Ichirou witnessing this began biting down on his teeth in frustration.
He believed he was strong, but seeing these two monsters he felt pathetic, like an ant.
Yuji stood over her body.
She weakly looked up from the ground and began laughing maniacally.
"That felt so good! I'll accept your request, but you have to please me every once in a while!"
The way she worded it sounded so lewd, but Yuji knew she was speaking about fighting.
Yuji nodded and a screen appeared before his face.
