Chapter 1 - prologue.

Life and destiny were two different words with many different meanings. Neither did I know the meaning of the two words nor did I ever take the time to study and understand them both.

Aries was a country that consisted of three races of people. Humans, werewolves and vampires.

History had it say that werewolves were big creatures with stinky fur all over their bodies, some books wrote about them as huge humans with huge feet, superior to humans in both intelligence and strength.

Vampires were similar to humans. They had pale skin and sharp pointed fangs. Books explained them as merciless blood-sucking creatures with the fastest speed and vision to those of normal humans. Some of them had mixed themselves with humans and werewolves, intermarried, and gave birth to a new generation called 'Hybrids'

Hybrids were a mixture of werewolves with Vampires.

The Ari was half-human and half vampire

The Mantra was half human and half werewolf

All three races had what we call a super ability but that was for those few -chosen ones. Some people called them mutants, others called them superheroes, and many called them monsters from hell.

The mutants or whatever people were entitled to them were also classified into four groups according to their ability.

Red, Orange, Green, and blue.

Fire, Thunder, wind, and Water respectively.

I sat straight up out of my bed. My heart was racing so rapidly. I felt as if it would burst out of my chest. My body was drenched with sweat and my breathing was ragged. I examined my surroundings and relief washed over me as I realized that I was in my dorm room.

"Oh God, these fucking nightmares," I exclaimed putting my hand over to my face.

Nightmares were a regular occurrence for me. After 11 years, I thought I would be used to them by now but the answer was still a big NO. I looked to my left to see Clove sleeping with a big scowl on his face.

"Such a handsome hockey face! Too bad to be born a shameless self-centered jerk." I thought to myself as I rolled my eyes. Clove was a roommate from hell.

He was a self-centered rich ass with neither manners nor sympathy. He was the type of boy whom your parents forbid you from being friends with. A drunkard dimwit who couldn't spend a sober second. He had all it took for someone to be called handsome no wonder girls swung around him like bees protecting their queen. I hated him the second my black eyes saw him.

I glanced at the clock -2:45 AM. I sigh escaped my lips as the thought of spending another night up hit me.

Give this book a chance please, I'm sure you aren't gonna regret
