It took another ten hours before the warship landed on Planet Celine. Yunho discussed his plans with Chantal, telling her that he would accompany her wherever she went for the rest of the three months. He also clarified that the Admiral had approved his indefinite leave.
"Be careful!" Yunho took hold of Chantal as they descended from the warship.
"I am not that clumsy to fall in the flight of stairs, Major."
"But it's different now, and you cannot be stressed since we still don't know if you are conceiving our firstborn, Dean."
The couple was murmuring to each other, but other people could still hear them clearly. They were addressing each other formally in public, but some still felt that these titles were too sweet coming from them. It was known to people that neither of the two possessed any facial expression for the past years of working with them. Who would have thought that they would take pleasure in feeding dog food everywhere?
Three people from the military with lieutenant ranks saluted the couple. They also looked good, so some of the students reacted when they saw the team. But when the teachers turned their attention back to those students showing such excitement, their backs silently felt cold.
"Are the arrangements executed without problems?"
"Yes, Dean Qin. The team also checked all of the named portals within the area and assigned a guarding team to prevent the students from wandering to unknown places."
"Have you checked the soil samples and animal species within the zone?"
"Teams A27 and B35 made sure to record all of the information gathered from their surroundings. We also included a thorough search for another 1,000 meters, starting from the parameter borderline set for the military training. And no Zerg activities in the area were spotted, Dean Qin."
"Send me a copy of the information and gather all the remaining sub-heads to start activating the emergency shield. There are three thousand cambots around the area. To prevent losing connection, let us manually activate fifteen of the satellites in this world. We can never calculate what happens in the following two months."
"Will we need to set the live broadcast in infitine time mode to cover different zones of the planet, Dean Qin?"
"We must! There are students with relatively special constitutions, and barriers might not prevent them from getting lost. Celine might be a planet incomparable to the size of an E-ranked planet, but the terrain here is more difficult to predict. The live broadcast needs to cover the whole planet for safety measures and follow group leaders to monitor the teams."
"Are there more measures to take, Dean Qin?"
"After activating the live broadcast, do not forget to disable all of the project keys."
"But, Dean, that will affect..."
"It won't affect anything. Having the Federation's military training broadcast to the galaxy is not a big problem. We can let the netizens monitor the state of the students in the jungle. Destroying the keys would mean the live broadcast could continue without delays or manipulation. It can somehow save lives at a critical moment."
The team returned to their quarters. The students were given three hours to rest and prepare themselves. The teachers were also confiscating materials that should not be brought during the survival test.
Medicine and supplies were also given in advance, while some were scattered in the forest. Weapons were distributed, but each of them contained a memory recorder that would show how the students killed or fought. Chantal was the type of woman who would ensure no mistakes were made when performing tasks, and this amazed Yunho.
The instructors and the military personnel who joined as facilitators of the military exercise were scattered in different areas. Each of the groups could monitor each other live as a team. Medical teams were also stationed among them.
"Will this cabin last if a storm suddenly hits the area?" Yunho asked as he stared at the portable cabin in front of them. He was skeptical about such a cabin surviving even strong winds or heavy rains. "We're not safe to stay here."
Chantal knew her partner's mind was overthinking, but she did not want to argue with him. So she dialed the hidden forces in the area and tasked them with creating supplementary shelters beside their cabins to ensure nothing went wrong during the months they would stay in Celine.
"Yunyun, do not worry. Materials have already been shipped from the main planet and will arrive tomorrow morning. Let's make do with this arrangement for now. I don't think there will be any beast tide or storm surprise in the coming hours. So, should we cook instead?"
"Are you hungry? Sorry, I hadn't noticed it earlier. We should have eaten before departing from the ship."
"Yes, it's not just me. I guess you're starving too!"
The couple laughed.
Yunho hugged Chantal till they entered the cabin. "I just worry about you. I know we've been to the battlefield. We've fought what kinds of monsters ever existed. And killed whenever necessary, but at this moment, there are a lot of people out there. When danger occurs, we might need to fight and save people at the same time."
"You really need to stop worrying. Three meters apart can't be too far," Chantal chuckled as she pinched Yunho's cheeks.
"You can change your clothes first, and I will take care of the necessities we brought."
Chantal's heart was fluttering. Her husband really knew how to take care of people. But when Chantal went to the bathroom, Yunho hurriedly left the cabin. He stood outside, making sure no one was around. Since the couple was newlywed, their colleagues automatically distanced their cabins from them, giving them enough privacy but not too far to put them in danger.
"I trust my wife, but I cannot trust anyone around us," he said, retrieved a protective cover from his spacebutton, and activated it around their cabin.
The 2S-level protective cover lasts for a year, and it can withstand a hundred 3S-level attacks from the environment. It can also hide Chantal's scent when she untimely undergoes "in heat." The cover can also prevent any noise from leaking outside of its carrier. After setting up the cover, the image of the cabin outside will become a distorted replica of the original cabin's placement.
Yunho sighed as he said, "I hope this will be enough for a few weeks of protection."
