She was interrupted by a knock at the door. It was her father's assistant, Mrs. Wang. "Miss Tang, the board of directors is waiting for you in the conference room," she said.
Tang Xue Mei stood up, smoothing out her dress. She took a deep breath and walked out of the office, ready to face the challenges ahead.
As she entered the conference room, she saw the board of directors seated around the table, their faces serious and concerned.

"we are glad to see you taking an interest in the company. Your father's condition is...unfortunate, and we need someone to take charge."
