"It's you." She choked out
"It's you, you mean." I curtsied. "Princess Rose at your service."
"Princess?" She questioned
"Yes. My mother is Queen Luna of the Bud elves."
"Elves? You're not human?"
"No. I come from the fantasy world but I'm afraid I can't return."
"Why not?"
"My mother has set me up for an arranged marriage with some idiot prince."
She didn't seem to know what to say to that.
Instead, she just smiled and said "Hello Rose. My name is Mary."
"Mary. That's a beautiful name."
She laughed like chimes blowing in the wind "I was actually going to say the same about yours."
I was about to respond when someone called out from another room "Mary! Come help with your brother!"
"Sorry, I have to go. I'll meet you outside the cottage tonight ok?"
"Ok."
"Hurry up Mary!"
"Coming Mom!" she called, she turned around and winked at me before running up the stairs.
