That day, Adrian and Avians enjoyed their breakfast together as usual. The menu that morning was grilled salmon with mashed potatoes. A meal that Avians loved.
She looked so happy as she enjoyed her meal that morning, plus being with the man she loved every day, made her feel very happy.
"Oh right Avi,"
"Yes, what is it, Ian?" asked Avians turning to her beloved husband.
"Today I'm taking you to my company. I want you to see the place where I used to work. You don't have any plans today, do you?" asked Adrian.
The woman shook her head, answering that she had nothing scheduled today and wanted to come with Adrian to the company because she was curious about the place.
Hearing her enthusiasm, Adrian smiled and would take the Avians there as she said. She nodded her head and continued with her meal until it was finished.
At nine in the morning, they went to Adrian's TechNC company. Avians was very happy that Adrian took her there for a tour.
"It might be crowded there, so stay with me," Adrian said, taking her hand.
"Yes, I understand," she replied as she returned Adrian's hand.
After traveling for 30 minutes, they finally arrived at their destination. As usual Adrian would get out of the car first and open the door for Avians while keeping his wife's head out of the car door.
"Thank you, Ian."
She wrapped her hand around Adrian's arm and walked into the company together. From the entrance, many female employees had gathered around to see Adrian's arrival with Avians.
Some of them were amazed by the romance between the two of them. Moreover, the banquet photo of Adrian carrying Avians out of the building was widespread. They were mesmerized by Adrian who loved his wife so much.
"Look at that Mr. Adrian with Miss Avians, they are so romantic," whispered an employee.
"That's right, they look very good together. I'm so jealous!" replied his friend.
"Good morning Mr. Adrian and Miss Avians." Someone also greeted the two of them.
Both smiled and greeted the person back.
However, there were also those who seemed to dislike the two of them. They said that what the two of them were doing in a public place was just a gimmick to make it look like their relationship was fine. Even though it was clear that Sarah didn't like Adrian and Avians' marriage.
But both of them acted as if nothing had happened. That's what makes some people think that Adrian and Avians' intimacy is just a gimmick so that TechNC's image doesn't look bad, considering Adrian is the owner of the company.
Even so, Adrian didn't really respond to their negative thoughts about him. Because according to him, what happens behind all that is his personal life. Including pampering Avians and loving her.
"This is an office in this company. There are several offices here, one of which is the design office. They help design the latest products to attract people's attention," Adrian explained.
"I see, their role is very important, right? They have to think outside the box to create interesting designs."
Adrian nodded, he was proud of those who worked in that department. He was also glad that the Avians understood that.
Some of the employees approached them and greeted them. Trying to get a closer look at Avians since it was their first time seeing her in person.
"You are very beautiful in person, Ms. Avians," they complimented.
"Thank you very much," Avians replied happily.
Although there were many people approaching her, Avians felt at ease because she knew Adrian was there for her.
At the same time, Zoey was there and saw the two of them from her desk. Her face was covered by the barrier of every employee on the table, making it impossible for Adrian or Avians to see her.
Zoey gritted her teeth in annoyance, seeing that her older sister could be happy with her husband while she had to suffer there.
"Tch, you'll see. I'll make sure that's your last smile and then you'll be a servant at home again!" she muttered in annoyance as she crumpled the paper in her hand.
The two of them moved on to another important room in the company. Avians seemed very impressed with the design of the company which looked very comfortable.
'No wonder so many people want to work here. The place is so nice and cozy,' Avians thought.
Finally they arrived at a place leading to Adrian's room on the 30th floor, the top floor of the company. As they were about to head to Adrian's room, a brown-haired man approached the two of them.
"Good morning, Mr. Adrian, and oh Miss Avians too," he greeted.
"This is my secretary, Rhino," Adrian introduced the man.
"Rhino Rowant, nice to meet you, Miss Avians. This is our first time communicating," said Rhino introducing himself.
He also said there would be a meeting in two hours and wanted Adrian to attend it. Adrian nodded his head and then pulled his wife into his room.
When the door opened, it revealed a spacious room with a desk in the center of the room. Avians could see a sofa for receiving guests as well as a small room.
"This is my dressing room and bathroom. So I can change my clothes here when I have to attend an impromptu event," Adrian explained.
"I see, this room is very big and spacious. Plus there's no noise outside."
Avians walked to the glass window behind Adrian's desk. From up there they could see the other buildings around them. As well as the highway which looked very busy.
"Sit down, you must be tired of walking around," Adrian said, offering her to sit in his chair.
At first, Avians refused to sit there because she felt inappropriate. But after Adrian convinced her, Avians sat down.
The chair was comfortable and large. She looked over at Adrian's desk where there was a laptop and other things. Including Adrian's nameplate.
"It feels great to be sitting here," Avians said happily.
"Right, when I sit there I feel like I have a huge responsibility for our company," Adrian explained.
"It must be very hard for you."
The man said it was tough, but it was his job. He couldn't just let go of his responsibilities.
"And one day, it will be our child who will take my place in this place and hold the next responsibility," he said.
The Avians reflexively turned their heads when Adrian mentioned their child. One day Adrian would grow old and need an heir to carry on the company.
And that child, the child she would give birth to would be the successor to TechNC.
