Tyde has a strong will, but his heart is fragile. The little trust and love he had in his life had been ripped out by unfortunate circumstance.
He still thinks fondly of his parents, but as a child he loathed them when they left. Embracing the lifeless corpse of your mom and crying yourself to sleep will create breaches in ones emotional stability.
I've known his deepest darkest truths, I know every inch of his mind, and I know how much he loves his family; it's the whole reason why he's fighting with us here in the academy. I might be a small reason, but it's all part of the big picture of protecting home.
Knowing all of this, I tremble at the presence of Tyde when the rage and confusion enters his mind from the sight of his orphan siblings he left behind.
