There was screaming as the light turn bright enough to blind the entire colosseum and by the time the light died down, everyone is disoriented and confused.
Sabina held onto the item that hit her. It is a small black crystalline-like structure. She was shocked to see it crumble in her hand into nothing. Her body trembled furiously at this near death situation and fell to her knees.
Holy Crap! I thought I was gonna die!
The moment she sensed it, she grabbed it before it could completely pierce her neck. Stunned, she noticed that her disguise is still intact, she still looks like Leon. She is also quick to notice the warm blood dyeing her clothes. She didn't even feel it. The adrenaline has numbed the pain away.
She then looked at the cufflinks, dagger and quill in her possession as the items crumbled into nothing too. She then stared in the direction at where that weapon came from.
*
"What the fu-!"
"Hey, it worked! Ryllis's items worked." Leon cheered.
Rufus should've known. Amaryllis's purification powers were in those items she gifted them. It saved Nathaniel from being blinded by his attack. It could also stop the arrow from hitting her and it worked. He saw it disappear.
It felt like all the stress in his body dissipated witnessing the weapon fail and destroyed in front of his eyes.
Leon quickly looked over to see and grabbed Rufus's arm. "Let's go while we still have time!"
"The fight-"
"Everyone just witnessed the attempted assassination attempt on the prince, the game is over!"
They disappeared from their spot with a pop and reappeared away from the colosseum, immediately noticing a hooded figure and Theseus chasing another figure, recognizing that person immediately.
"Selim?"

Alabaster took off his sunglasses. He knew that the clash of demonic energy and angelic energy would result creating a reaction but thankfully it wasn't physically harmful.
All he has to do is just sit back and relax as the royal guards surround the fake Leon to protect him. Selim seems to have fainted from being on ground zero when this all happened as he is carried by a medic. The cries, the confusion and sounds of worry from the audience fill the air. No one is allowed to leave including him.
"What a drag." Hopefully they get the assassin first. He should inform Amy but she is dealing with the merfolk right now and is finding her situation to be quite hilarious. This is quite a day.
*
Everyone chased after Selim and now he has questions because his scent is the same as the other Selim... probably. He was too angry and busy dealing with wanting to confront Leon as Nathaniel that he didn't even bother to check up on Selim at the Colosseum so he can't confirm if he's real or fake.
Selim quickly climbed up the roof top and everyone chased after him. Theseus used his gravity ability to make Selim drop but before they could subdue him, he was holding onto an orb and it seems the hooded figure recognizes it as he faces the other way.
"Run!"
But the orb explodes, imploding everything around them, sucking them all in.

Amy is sitting in the middle of the deck, surrounded by mermen and tiredly watching them all calm down after crying themselves to sleep and a night full of snacks.
As it turns out, their feelings are extremely sensitive. When she stormed out of the cellar to get rid of them, she used shadow manipulation to push them back into the sea, changing their lower half back into a tail again, sparing every one of the embarrassments. Their magic is powerful, and it is always water-based but because of that, any magic that doesn't use water has a disadvantage. The magic that gave them legs has a long cooling period. They won't be doing that again for probably a few months up to a year. This very action has hurt their feelings, and they all start to cry like toddlers. They wanted to see her that badly and she had to outright tell them that she is not interested in 1, choosing one of them to become her mate and 2, not accepting their invitation to join them in the sea.
They didn't take the rejection well and not wanting to make enemies out of them or rather their alpha, as well as feeling extremely guilty, she comforted all of the crying mermen, after bringing them back to the ship, until they are finally content and asleep on the deck.
Now, she is waiting for the alpha to pick them up and take them home and wouldn't dare sleep. This is a waste of time. She/he has to notice they are missing by now. The sun has finally rise and Amy doesn't even have the mental and emotional energy to even feel angry anymore.
Mermaids are not what she expected. She would've expected that they're violent or territorial but when they don't get their way, they just suddenly break down crying.
Her tiredness suddenly washes away after feeling a powerful presence approaching them. It was the alpha.
The alpha rose up and everyone watched in amazement. Goddamn, she knew that alphas are huge but this is physically impossible. To the alpha, she might as well be the size of her finger.
"Take your children and people back. We did not harm any of them. We were waiting for you to pick them up."
The alpha has long coral red hair and appears physically male. Amy had forgotten that the alpha is always a female but that appearance is too deceiving to convince anyone that the alpha is female. On the other hand, the alpha seems far more mature than the mermen. He/she appears calm as he/she scooped up their children and underlings and drop them into the ocean. They then stared at Amy intently but remained quiet. With a silent nod, they return to the sea. Some of the mermen woke up by the impact of the water, waved back sadly and followed their alpha.
Those mermen are basically children in grown up bodies.
After watching them leave, everyone finally sighed in relief.
"Oh thank god, it is over." Professor Wyatt says tiredly.
Everyone collapsed out of exhaustion while Amy dragged herself to a bed.
Out of all the things she has learned and encountered, this is probably the most traumatizing and wackiest event she had ever went through. No one is going to believe her if she tells the tale so she might as well not.
