Viola opened her eyes to see that it is almost noon. In realization, she got out of bed, dressed in her uniform, grabbed everything and dashed out her door. She was about to attend her next class but there is a professor waiting for her in the hall. His expression is fierce.
"Miss Anthos, this is your third tardy this week. What do you have to say for yourself?"
Guilty, she had a downcast look.
She has been feeling awfully tired these past few days and never knew why. When it started, she thought it was because of the Spring weather but now it's approaching Summer, yet she feels so sluggish and out of it that it has been heavily affecting her attendance. She couldn't even wake up at her alarm, something that never fails to wake her up. Even without it, she is always a morning bird. Why is she so suddenly out of it?
Then the Professor projects a stricter tone in response of her lack of an answer. "Look at my eyes and answer when I ask."
Viola obeyed and the professor studied her face. Her complexion looks terrible. She is gaunt, tired and lacks any energy even though she just woke up. It's not that she has the decency to look guilty, but she is unable to.
Defeated, the professor sighs, "Go to the infirmary but we will discuss your punishment for your tardiness afterwards." She said then walks away without letting Viola answer.
Viola quietly walks to the infirmary; she has no idea what to do with this. She could see the infirmary building now. Just as she was about to enter the door, she felt sleepy again. She can't stop it.

Amy is bored and uses her free time using magic to give herself a trim, cutting her hair to reasonable length so that she could keep it in a way that would be manageable. It got tiring to constantly do her hair every day and dealing with the downside of maintaining long hair. After getting it cut and feeling the much-needed refreshing sensation of what it is like getting a fresh haircut, she gave a satisfying smile and tie her now shorter hair up in a high ponytail.
The reason why she is bored is because she isn't actively allowed to participate in the scientific part of the journey, but Professor Wyatt at least gives them a run-down and show them how it is like. Sometimes they are allowed to listen in during discussion and certain topics. It is boring but that doesn't mean she isn't learning anything new. Professor Wyatt is letting her catch up to her studies as she is learning to improve on her kanji. She is making sure she studies well too otherwise she would never figure out what the kanji in those pictures that she sends to Alabaster says. Because even he is illiterate in Kanji.
Speaking of Alabaster, he is partly responsible for the funding and support so that Amy would head to the Islands. Having this much money in this story is awesome and she always appreciates his support. He builds himself quite the reputation since the Ripper incidents. Next, Boris is making progress. Though she won't list it, he is confident that he could change certain organ systems in multiple creatures now including a succubus. If her journey is successful then Nana would be in their grasp.
She received letters from everyone. There were no updates on what could've happened, but they did mention Viola. It was kinda hard to see her and apparently, she is constantly tired and neglecting her studies since she is always tardy and this was months ago. They notice that her sixth sense is not working as she is in this state. Viola herself is not the type to do this. She is a light sleeper and always react to even the smallest movements and noise that an ordinary person wouldn't notice. It has been going on since the beginning of the school year but got progressively worse.
She heard a conversation on her way back to her room and she saw Kate, Lisa and Manny talking about something.
"Oh Hey, come join us. We're talking about the Ripper."
Amy joined in after taking a seat at her bed.
"I lost many of my comrades and companions to the Ripper." Lisa said solemnly, "I should feel relieved when it was announced by the Seers that the Ripper will not come back, but it still gives me the chills just thinking about it. I remember the day when I suddenly woke up and suddenly find them in pieces."
After the events of the Ripper, Seers all over the world proclaimed proudly to the entire world that the Ripper is gone and will not terrorize the world again, in a way that made people believe that the Seers took care of the problem. The whole world cheered and revered the Seers even more.
Amy's knuckles turned white upon hearing that. She is angry and she admits that she is doing a good job holding it in as the others did not realize it. While Amy admits that she didn't expect credit, she refused to accept that the Seers would get the credit while they were being useless this entire time. Where the hell were they when this all happened? What did they think they did that made them believe that they deserve the glory? Leon reacted even more poorly than her as he destroyed a monument to the lives lost in Solin just because the seers "involvement "was carved in stone and declares that it would not be built crediting the seers, so it was repaired without crediting the seers and they didn't comment about it. He wanted to insist on telling the truth, but it took a lot of persuasion not to and she even promised that he can reveal the truth at a later time as they have proof, witnesses and evidence. There are still theories but the seers, who supposedly see and understand everything in the world, refuse to talk about it. Even Prince Alphonso and his posse's deaths was confirmed by the seers that the Ripper killed them though Amy thought otherwise.
She then spaced out a bit as she could hear Ramiro squawk. She sees Viola, unconscious on the ground and tended by the nurses.
Amy got up in a jolt and looked around frantically, worrying her fellow interns. "I'm sorry, I gotta go." she said and ran upstairs.
