Amy stared at her project as she fed them. This project of hers is magic created by one of Aron's enemies. They are so convincing that they gave Aron a run for his money. In the end, they are deemed so dangerous and immoral that Aron killed the man who made them. He made enough to form a small army and they require feeding every couple hours or else they would starve and die.
Unlike that second rate villain, she is only able to create this much and hopes that she would never resort to using them.
Amy looked into her notes to see the unsolved parts in her plan and news from her information network in the form of her creations. The plan is that Amy gets strong on her own learning everything she can before joining the Solin Magic academy. When she does, she wouldn't need to worry too much about schoolwork and grades. There are people she wish to save in this story and she'll be damned if she doesn't do something about it and regret it later. In addition to enhancing her knowledge, she will have more time to plan for the future. Amy stopped to think what she has done these past couple of years.
Since she could remember when arriving in this world, her main focus is on finding all the ability users in Solin. Other than the ones who are around her age, the numbers are far smaller in other generations. Luckily, none of the users past her generation in the story's past or future would pose a problem. The ones she is more concerned about aren't even born yet. Four years have passed and there are news about the Rockwells. Nobles like to chat and gossip and she has eyes and ears in the right places. Because of their contribution to investigating the slave trade, the family has been promoted to baronet. If the whole thing is successful, the slave traders will never set foot in Solin ever again.
The youngest Rockwell has unlocked his power which is quite admittedly weak and not worth talking about. However, the fact that he even has a power is enough to have the family enter high society. She has heard that the family had grown arrogant with their rapidly growing fame with the exception of the youngest Rockwell who is hardworking. His older brothers also began to bully their brother out of jealousy. Then there was an incident where Leon and his playmates show the Rockwell family how strong their abilities are compared to him which humbled the brothers and left an impression on the youngest.
Amy can't help but scoff. Weak? Far from it. Harry Rockwell is an extremely underrated character in the story. He was timid, scrawny and sadly relatable. In the original story, he was an aide to the Crown Prince who unlocked his ability quite late. He was seen as an extra who was overworked as a running joke in the manga. His power grew strong with growing conviction and it protected so many people and disasters at the time when his ability is needed the most. At least, he isn't drunk on political power like his father. Young Harry wouldn't need to worry anymore. At least, Leon is paying attention to him now.
Next are Sabina and Salvador White. Both siblings were distant relatives who were adopted into the White Earldom as adopted children of the childless, aging Earl White because of their abilities. Sabina is known to readers for her sadism but it was because of the abuse from her biological parents while Salvador has a more submissive, fanatic yet extremely loyal nature towards Rufus though he also has abandonment issues. If it wasn't for their powers, they would've suffered even more. Sabina is confirmed to be one of Rufus's classmates and Salvador is a year younger than her. Both developed a yandere-like obsession with him in the story and that scares her. When they found out that Aron is Rufus's son... oh, they most certainly didn't take it well.
Her feelings towards those siblings are extremely negative so she wants to prevent this side of them from ever surfacing. She might even take the drastic route and kill them if she suspects any of them taking the wrong side.
One of her first actions is to unlock the strengthening variant of her purification ability. It is currently very weak and she's been practicing it in secret. She doesn't remember when she unlocked it but after creating glass marbles that could store her power, she had it sent to the White siblings while they are still too young enough to remember clearly and she gave a lead to the authorities about the abuse. Amy received the good news that Earl White has adopted them much earlier than the original date. They are gonna grow up well and the abuse will become a distant memory.
Finding the Rockwells aren't difficult. The maps in her great-grandfather's office are enough to track them down. The Whites are a big harder to find but thanks to researching their family tree, it became quite easier to find them. The hardest ability user in Solin to find right now is Melissa. Melissa's family name is unknown so she tracked down anyone she could find with the given name. Since she is queen in the story, it wouldn't come as a shock for her to find out that she's from another country.
Leon is also an exception, not for tracking but for insight. He is disguised as one of the playful, witty member of the faculty of the academy when he met Aron but he's also mysterious. His character and personality are quite well known but not the story of his life nor his feelings. He and Rufus were childhood friends and were deemed the strongest men of the age. After Rufus left, Leon began to care for the next generation and became more interested in education than politics. He didn't say his feelings outright even when shown his immediate thoughts despite his constant appearance in the story. As for Rufus, he is as much of a mystery. His goals are obvious but what is it all for? He did everything out of confidence. He says he wants to change the world like he is unsatisfied with something. It's like the writer has trouble discerning if he should be a pure evil villain or a sympathetic one. Despite his family name, he doesn't talk about his family although the story revealed he killed them. The story primarily focuses on Aron's point of view and the other main characters so their information won't be as well known or analyzed.
Amy has made changes but one of the biggest changes she wishes to make other than raising the future protagonist is to save Leon's life. He dies by the Cambion's hands.
Which brings up the next question. She taps on her desk. Where is he?
Then there was a knock on her door.
She quickly puts her things away. "Come in!"
Her handmaiden; Anna, opened the door. "My lady, the Virin family are here."
Amy shot up from her chair. "What?!"
