He saw Isleen and Rhett. After having his way with her in bed, he saw her get out of bed, followed her, and caught the conversation she had with Rhett from the beginning up until the end of it.
Had the two not been engrossed in their love-sick bullshit, they might have been smart enough to notice him. But no, they just had to be so annoying and stupid.
Fury boiled within him. Why did seeing Rhett hold Isleen make him want to lash out? Was it the lingering resentment towards the pack who'd taken his "mate" away? Witnessing their happiness fueled an ugly jealousy that surprised even him. He fought the urge to attack, clenching his fists until his knuckles turned white.
It took a great deal of control for him not to speed there and snap Rhett's neck off. Yet, it served him great pleasure to watch someone else touch Isleen, kiss her, and love her. He got hard while watching.
