"A Beast Tide?" Dalvin asked with confusion.
Zhen Lingmei glanced away. "A Beast Tide is an infrequent disaster that occurs in Tianzi every few centuries or so. It occurs when the Spirit Beasts in the Beast Domain propagate in number to the point where there is not enough space to accommodate them all, so the stronger beasts use their power to 'exile' the weaker ones outward to find new territory for themselves."
"So the peak strength of Beast Tides is limited, right? After all, I cannot imagine that Soul Formation and Dao Integration level beasts being so numerous that they'd be part of this exiled group." Dalvin asked with a raised eyebrow.
Zhen Lingmei nodded. "That's right. The Beast Tide mostly ends at the Core Formation rank in terms of peak power. Very rarely are there one or two True Spirit beasts at the Nascent Soul Realm. Such fellows can completely come to our Human Domain and coexist with us, so territory is not an issue for them."
