Dalvin felt a tremendous amount of malice bear down on him, forcing his shoulders to lower slightly. With a grim expression, he exited the house to see the four women: Zhen Lingmei, Ling Long, Yulia, and Xue Mei.
Before he could greet them, Zhen Lingmei hushed the group and gestured for Dalvin to move to a suitable area. Dalvin, having an inkling of what was going on, moved to a different part of the island so that the women would not be forcibly included in his tribulation.
The clouds sparked with lightning, seemingly furious that Dalvin would even dare to come out and face it rather than quietly commit suicide out of fear and regret to appease it. This kind of direct malice made Dalvin wonder if this was how all tribulations were or if it was just aimed at him.
