After applying all my stat points to my status, I thought, *I think I will be able to stand against Alpha-One.* But that was not enough. I was still lagging behind by a bit. Erica had been a huge help to me, enabling me to confront Alpha-One.
Anyways, it was still tough to keep up with the speed of Alpha-One's attacks. But with the help of Erica's instructions and my improved status, I was able to keep up. However, it wouldn't last long, so I had to finish this fight as quickly as possible.
Alpha-One launched a direct attack aimed at my neck. Even though it was a wooden sword, it was dangerous enough to be a threat. I barely managed to dodge it by a thin margin, then it continued with a diagonal slash and a stab. I used Erica to identify all its movements to dodge. Then, I mixed all the attacks that I had observed so far to attack back. Well, it was only possible with Erica's help; without it, it wouldn't be possible.
After a complete analysis and with the help of a simulation, I made a feint attack and at the next moment, directly attacked the core of Alpha-One. With this, I was finally able to beat Alpha-One. Though it was tough, I think it was worth it. I got a level up and my skill in Basic Swordsmanship also leveled up to the intermediate level.
I was able to perform difficult sword moves with more ease because of the level up. I think now I will be able to beat any monsters.
Suddenly, Clark appeared in front of me. I told him to stop doing that because it wasn't good for my heart.
Clark smiled, "Congratulations, Asho! You are finally able to beat Alpha-One."
"Thank you, Clark. So, can I now go to another world?" I asked.
"No, I don't think that's still hard for you. You are only 50% there," Clark said.
"What?? Only 50%? Is there anything still remaining? I think I will be able to slay any basic monster on my own," I said.
"That's the problem. You will only be able to slay the basic monsters," Clark said.
"So??" I asked.
"Okay, so what will happen if two monsters attack you at the same time?" Clark questioned.
"Once or three or four, or even a horde of monsters, will you be able to defend yourself in that situation?" Clark asked.
I fell silent because it seemed nearly impossible for me to do that. I had barely managed to defend myself against Alpha-One by giving my all. So if I had to fight two or more, I would definitely be in trouble.
"So now you understand, huh?" Clark said.
"What should I do from now on?" I asked
.
"No problem, you are getting stronger faster than expected. I think you will be able to achieve it in a month or two. So from now on, you will train with two Alpha-Ones at the same time. I will increase their number in the meantime until you are able to handle more," Clark explained.
