Third person POV
After lunch, Kioko took Hoshi and his group to her detective agency, the Hashimoto Detective Agency, in the city. There she brought one folder containing the cases of the two missing employees from the Takada Sake Corporation and showed it to them. The reason why she did that is because she wonders if the same possible culprit who was responsible for the disappearance of the woman in the Kita district was the same one who was responsible for the disappearances of the said two Takada Sake employees a week ago.
"Oh, so those two are the missing employees…" Hoshi commented as he and his friends looked at the files, which were laid on a table.
"Yes," replied Kioko back briefly and calmly, "and here's how it went down: the first one disappeared 8 days ago in the eastern side of Osaka city, while the second one disappeared 1 day after the first one; this time, the second one disappeared in the northern side of the city."
Hoshi and his friends then got it now.
"And also," Kioko continued on, "both of them happened at night, too."
This alerts them, and they start to analyze it.
"Really?"
"What time at night to be exact?"
"Within 10 p.m.," answered the female detective.
Because of that time frame, Hoshi and Taro now think that the case is somehow connected with the Kita district woman case by the same possible culprit. Sha noted that those victims were all women and all in their mid-30s. Saki added that their disappearances had all happened at night and within 10 p.m. Kioko, as always, was hard to be convinced, and she was skeptical of Hoshi and Taro's hypothesis.
At this point, Hoshi and his group basically became detectives for this. At the same time, Kioko's agency was informed by Kioko that Hoshi is the grandson of the Takada Sake's current CEO, and they respected him and his friends in response. In fact, Takada Sake is their favorite sake brand at all times.
They stayed at the agency until 2:14 p.m., and at that time, they left to go back to the Takada estate so they would take a break for the whole afternoon. At this time, Kioko, with her black, long hair and sapphire blue eyes, remained committed to the two cases and her belief that the supernatural is no longer relevant in this modern age. But Hoshi and his group, meanwhile, were determined to prove her wrong. Furthermore, Kuro and Hoshi decided to go out at night just in case Shuten Dōji would abduct any more women.
