Third person POV
4 years had passed since Louis died, and his two children, Hoshi and Mariya are now 16 and 24. One bright July morning, Hoshi, clad in his school uniform, was walking down the street to school, just any other day. It was the norm for him to go on that route since his school was located 3 blocks away from his house, which was left by his father to him and Mariya. He carries his school bag as usual and his appearance as a student is clean and proper as usual.
This is Hoshi Carmen Takada-Santos. He was born on October 4 in the city of Nagoya, where his mother hailed from, but he and Mariya, who was born during a vacation in Hiroshima, grew up in Nara City. His mother, a Japanese housewife named Reiko Takada, died of cancer when he was 3 years old. He was ordinary in hair color, height, and weight, except for his heterochromia, a condition that gives him two eye colors, grey and black. As a result, he was bullied occasionally for it, but Mariya, or rather, Mariya Olivia as her full first name, protects him from them. In general, both of them had a relatively good childhood, and both have good grades at school.
Currently, Mariya works as a full-time nurse at a local hospital while Hoshi was now in second year in high school.
