As Canna stepped out of the portal, the crisp air of the ancient forest filled his lungs, bringing with it the scents of rich earth and blooming flora. He was immediately greeted by Flora, who bore a wide smile on her face.
"Good news, Master," Flora began, her voice light with excitement. "The leader of the people in this forest is eager to meet you. I told them about how you were creating a sanctuary and that you were looking for races to help with revitalizing the land."
Canna raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "And what did they say?"
"They want to meet you in person before giving their answer," Flora replied.
Canna nodded thoughtfully. His initial visit had been driven by curiosity, spurred by Noctis's report of something unusual in this forest. But if there was a chance to recruit allies who were attuned to the forces of nature, it would be a significant boon to his cause.
"Lead the way, Flora," Canna said.
