The chief, along with Tiberius—who took responsibility for the initial misunderstanding—patrolled the perimeter of the village for the entire night, standing guard and maintaining vigilance.
Meanwhile, Canna and Kael were escorted back to their huts to rest for the night, with the promise to continue their discussion in the morning. However, Canna had other plans. Instead of going to sleep, he opened a portal to his domain to check on the newly contracted Shadow Bear.
