Back in the Kingdom of Avaloria
General Alaric stood in his private chambers, a note clutched in his hands and a smile plastered on his lips. The note read, "A national treasure of the kingdom has arrived with a white-haired man in a small town called Fernwood, just down the north of us."
This was the closest lead they had on Canna. Alaric had put every man available to search for any trace of the enigmatic figure, and the presence of Kael, a known national treasure of this kingdom, with a white-haired man seemed too coincidental to ignore.
Determined to act swiftly, Alaric sent a message to all his personnel, informing them that he would be heading to Fernwood with three of his elite members. He also instructed them to inform anyone looking for him that he was undergoing closed-door training.
With that, Alaric began his preparations, his mind focused on the task at hand.
