"The adult may and the two kids are dead. We were too late. Still if we want to save that one we need to get him to a physician faster. His pulse is too faint." Li Yunfeng stated.
"Oh my God! What do I do then?", Xu Bao asked worriedly.
"Hurry, let's take this one first. We will come back and get the rest for the mortuary."
"No, let's take all of them. We might be wrong. Let's hear what the physicians will say before, please."
"Okay, if you say so but let's hurry or else we might have to bury all four of them.".
"Okay.", Bao said as he joined Yunfeng to carry them into the wagon.
"I'm so sorry but it's too late for these three and I can't tell if this one will even make it, his pulse is so faint.", the physician stated, giving Yunfeng a type of look but Xu Bao was too occupied to notice.
He said the same thing as the first one who had checked on the four patients earlier.
Because of the urgency of the matter, Li Yunfeng had hired three physicians all at once.
Two were at the guild that he runs for the Prince and one was sent to Xu Bao's home to check on his ailing mama.
The two adults and two kids were sent to Li Yunfeng's house since from the short conversation he had had with Xu Bao, the latter's place was already too small for him and his mama.
Adding the four to that was impossible. Now after bringing in two physicians here to take care of them, they're both saying the same thing Yunfeng had told him earlier.
Xu Bao felt very bad but he knows that he will have to deposit the bodies to the mortuary. He hoped that at least the adult hem will be able to survive.
'He has to survive.' He wished as he walked home after checking on them. Though his mother is doing well now, he felt so sad because of the injured strangers.
Li Yunfeng was in deep thoughts. There was something on his mind and he doesn't know what to do or whom to tell.
Finally, he decided that he'd wait and meet with his older brother come morning before he makes any decision.
The Next Day At the Morning Court Session at the Royal Palace.
"Your Majesty, we your ministers think that it is time for your highness to take a husband among the handsome eligible hems in this kingdom." The left prime minister stated.
"Yes, Your Majesty. Our crown may is long past the age of marriage. We suggest that if he is not able to bring an eligible husband himself, we will find him one. One of the best breedings.", the minister of finance stated.
"Okay, I have heard all what you've said. I will discuss it with the crown Prince and hear what he too has to say." The emperor stated and with that the meeting was adjourned.
Li Yunfeng spotted his older brother returning from the morning court assembly and he rushed to meet him.
"Yunfeng, what are doing here? I thought you'd be at the guild, I intended to see you after my meeting with the Crown Prince.
Since you're here, let us go together. I'm sure you have something to report that's why you came?", Li Zicheng said as they walked towards the Eastern Palace where the crown may resides.
Yunfeng held his brother's arm so he stopped and said, "There's something I need to tell you before we go to see him."
Seeing his younger brother's serious expression, Zicheng pulled him to a secluded corner and after making sure that it was safe to talk, he told his brother to speak.
Sigh, "I've found him.", Yunfeng said.
"Who?", his brother asked, confused.
"I've found that person whose name we can't mention, remember?" Yunfeng said and his brother immediately got what he meant with shock plastered on his face.
"Where? How? No, where is he right now? Does anyone else know about him?", Yunfeng shook his head at the last question.
"Okay." Zicheng exhaled after unknowingly holding his breath all this while.
"So where is he? Did you talk to him? Tell me everything?".
"He's at the guild recuperating. And no I haven't spoken to him since he hadn't gained consciousness yet."
"Unconscious? Recuperating? Why, what happened?".
"He was found injured with three others who did not make it. I brought him in yesternight."
Yunfeng said but if his brother was watching him closely, he would've noticed that he wasn't telling him everything.
"Okay. Okay. Do not make mention of any of this to anyone and not a word of it to the Prince yet. I will see what we should do after the meeting. Do you want to join us for today's meeting?".
"No. I was only here to tell you about what I've just told you. I'm leaving for now. Will see you at the guild then.", Yunfeng said as walked back the way he had come.
He still didn't know of what to make of everything that's happened since last night. He had stumbled upon the hem that the crown may used to chase after, who all of a sudden had vanished from the surface of the earth.
The guild which he was unofficially put in charge, the very guild that the said man was now sleeping in a room there was actually that man's own.
Yunfeng wondered what had happened to him. And who were the people with him? How will the crown Prince react if he were to find out that he was here and alive.
The world as they said, was indeed small. How could he have found the crown prince's man through the new member of the man's own guild. Tsk.
Yunfeng had many questions but he'll have to let that wait until the injured hem gained consciousness.
Now he has a report to prepare. He would have to give account to his brother together with the Crown Prince when they come this evening.
He has to explain to them why they had to cancel their operation last night. Yunfeng sighed thinking of the headache of having to answer the numerous questions that he would be bombarded with from both his brother and the may Prince.
