Yggdrasil: leaf of the world

As the moon casts light through a window a woman in a dark robe opens a book and begins to tell a strange story. "In the beginning there was nothing, but then a huge bang created the universe. This story has been told to many and many have already known before handm, but what you didn't know is the story behind that. Before the beginning there was God, the creator and the source of all good, who brought love and peace to all. Then there was Lucifer, the rebel and the source of all evil who seekers to bring death and chaos to God's universe. The 2 were in a fierce fight for supremacy over who can rule, Lucifer and his rebellious angels waged a war in heaven that forced many angel to fight there own brothers and sister to see that there reality becomes true. Seeing that he was outnumbered, Lucifer created his soldiers called the demon race because in his mind, he believed if God can create life so can he but unlike God, his creations were flawed. These creations were corrupted and incomplete, so much so that all they can do is think of one objective, to cause chaos. Soon as the battle continued on and God realized that many angels were falling due to this war, so he decided to cast Lucifer down from heaven and banished into hell. Unfortunately he wouldn't stay down there for long, he would repeatedly keep trying to return to heaven to take the throne. With each attempt, his appearance kept changing and soon he looked more like demon then the angelic angel he was before. He believed that he was more perfect then God and he was better at ruling then God was. Knowing that the battle will continue on indefinitely, God decided to seal Lucifer away in hell by transforming himself into a tree that will separate heaven and hell so Lucifer can never escape and thus the yggdrasil, the tree of life was born. Balance was restored with heaven, giving the tree nutrients from a voice and hell giving the tree nutrients from below and that was the balance between good and evil. With Lucifer sealed away in hell, he vowed that he would return to take the throne and to bring chaos to all of gods creations. With that God returned to his work in creating life, but knowing Lucifer's vow to return, God decided to create help to counter the demon threat and as we know in our world, there is only one type of race. Yggdrasil is know as the tree of life and within the tree there are its leaves, which each leaf contains a whole world. In each of these worlds, God had also given this creations a gift, a gift of magic, that they can use on a daily or whenever they want. With this in play, God also created the ten different races that some will live together and some will be separated. Our world is just one leaf in the vast ocean of leaves created by God and this tree is the balance of life. Unfortunately the demon seal is breaking and more and more demons are seeping into our world to bring destruction, pain and death to all of gods creations. Soon that will change with heroes coming to our world to help with the rising threat of war, and soon Aetheria will need help from heroes.
